I'm curious about why Pro-Q3 never did and Q4 also won't display spectrum analyzer via vst3 on players like JRiver and Audirvana but both have no problems with Audition or Wavelab.... while vst2 plays well with vst2 supporting players...

There's a bug that causes Fabfilter plugins to mute the output after 30 days in some cases. The plugins continue working fine in most DAW's but they don't when they're loaded in other applications that run as Admin for example.

That bug also hapens to the legit version.

If you have that issue, get the tool "Torchsoft Registry Workshop" and go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\FabFilter

Select the plugin that doesn't work (in this example Pro-Q 4)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\FabFilter\Pro-Q\4.0
and copy the REG_SZ "LicenseText" value.

Now go to
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18\SOFTWARE\FabFilter\Pro-Q\4.0
(might be a different number like S-1-5-19 or S-1-5-20)

and paste that value.

Now the plugin should work again in every application.

Ye, I'm using Pro-Q 4 in EqualizerAPO to boost the audio output on my headphones for games and stuff and there I had this problem that after 30 days there was no more sound when the plugin was active. This solved the problem.
