Input Gain
makes your sound loud ’n proud with the S950’s unique grit and warm distortion. It’s powerful and will help anything stand out in your mix.

Audio Bandwidth
controls the target sample rate and analog-to-digital conversion circuitry with an exquisite, yet remarkably subtle, aliasing effect.

Filter
controls the S950’s infamous steep low-pass filter. Use it on separate elements, or on any output bus or master section.

Brilliance
Adjust the Audio Bandwidth's high-frequency response with the Brilliance knob (in Settings/Back panel).

I am looking to use this ust as a VST to burn it into tracks when I want that sound, is this onkly for putting short samples into it and playing them back? I want that low-bit sound to just burn into a track as a vst effect, I don't need a sampler for making loops, I use EZ drummer and have a million midi loops for it. I have downloaded bit crusher vst but I have a feeling this would really be a wonderful low-bit sound ust to burn into tracks. So is this ONLY a sampler and I cannot just burn in a sound to a full track as a VST effect?

If I understand your question...
This is a sampler in the strictest sense; it has the same functionality as the hardware, so there's no pads or sequencing or any drum machine or MPC-type stuff going on. All it does is crunch up audio in a pleasant way.

do you mean "beatport studio"? if so, you don't need to install it to download something from your plugin boutique account.

yes, this plugin is included in beatport studio, but you only need it if you want to use some plugin included in it.

plugin boutique does not force you to install any extra software to use what you bought there. I bought about 80 licenses there and all software from there is downloaded without third-party installers.
