After many Waves installations and deletions one by one, I'm a little tired of the process, that's all.


And now
because in my case this solution applied to about half of the installed plugins per installation.


And I repeat: Like the crackers do each time, they work for you. So just delete the ones you dont need each time, work for yourself. Or if your DAW can do it, tell your DAW to ignore the ones that you dont use and dont show them. That is much less work than what crackers have to do.
The installer come as it is, they wont do an installer for you...

Olymoon, that was just brainstorming ideas about how I would imagine it to be even greater. Because it can be fun to think of these ideas and be creative with them. It was in no way a complaint and it for sure didn´t sound like one at all - or like being disrespectful.
And as we can see, it´s a topic that some people seem to be interested in.

If I´d be a coder and could do things like that (like r4e, big respect!) I´d love to just for fun toy around with those things and try them. Just because I´d enjoy it.

Olymoon, if you think this is a topic for the forum rather, it´s fine, we can take it there. But speaking in depth about "how these plugins sound and can be used" would be also rather a topic for a forum, don´t you think?
Supporting each other with installations, and short feedback to the releases, is - I think - the purpose of this comment section, am I right? And also some short exchange of ideas maybe?

bro i only use the cla and ssl i'm using the team V.R release from 2023 and it's the same thing, if you look the version of each plugin nothing changed in 2024, just a few plugins are new versions. you can select the plugins you need only.

If you do want to delete single plugins later, why don't you just do little reseach and install them only what you need? That will definitely save your time and storage space in the first place. I have been always doing that since I first met the Waves bundle in the good old eraly 1990s.

If you delete part of of it after the full installation of the Waves Complete, you need the Waves Central app, which requires all the hassles of re-authorization.

It all went smoothly, here's the process:

1.Remove everything from previous release (Applications, Library, Plugins, etc.)
2.Download Waves Central from Official Site (Install stuff that you need)
3.Copy the Patched file in Bundle (Codesign)
4.Generate License & put it in place
Restart (I don't know if necessary, I did anyway)
5.Open Daw (Everything Works)
6.Delete (All Bundle Backups from Applications, AU, AAX, VST as I only use VST3, Plugin Server Folder from App Support Folder which I found waste of 1GB, I mostly never use any online plugin services) [Almost 5-7gbs freed]
7.Unistall Wave Central (I found it unnecessary)

Everything Works [Including Silk]

M1, Sonoma -- Hope it helped (I know this is Windows release, but posting jsut so it can be helpful to anyone on Mac)

Anyone know of a link that explains how to install this release whilst retaining the libraries from the previous R2R release?

I downloaded Complete last week and was highly disappointed to not be able to use Silk Vocals or Studio Rack. So glad R2R gifted us this release. I'm curious as to whether Key Detector is included and working. It's really those two plugins I want.

I know it's a big ask but if it's not too much trouble could someone explain their advantages and disadvantages.

The "Patched and Keygen Only-RET" version has only the patched and keygen (a few megabytes) and you must download the Waves plugins and data files from the Waves site online, while the "Incl Emulator-R2R" means that it includes the Waves plugin and data files with the patched/keygen (several gigabytes) and that you can do the offline installation.

Sometimes, when loading the Studio Rack plug-in, a warning message appears indicating that you are not connected to the Waves local server. And it seems that the plugin's default settings are reset. Is there any solution?

Completely broken. I was really excited, too, stuffed my latest projects full of these plugins, and now it's all gone to hell. All the plugins worked perfectly fine for a few days, then all of a sudden they're all in demo mode adding a bunch of silence telling me I need to buy licenses. The "kill background process" step by step included in the txt file worked to fix this once, and then never again.
