Normally you'd put:

127.0.0.1 "Blocked url or ip" - this will loopback to your device and never make it to outide.

Or can do:

0.0.0.0 "blocked url or ip" meaning anything in or out trying to make it to url or ip is blocked, from my understandanding.

however for this one they say not to fully block using loopback ie 127.0.0.1 as it can cause issues with app communicating with itself.

Does this mean you are able to put wildcard 0.0.0.0 or you just have to put in the entries by itself?

OK SOLVED!
in case it helps others, it was a trilogy of errors.
1) My firewall was stopping access to the blob drive. Now I'm using windows own firewall on the app.exe only, blocking all public domains only.
2) I'd done a clean install and had forgotten to install the base apps first. i.e. vogue isn't a plugin, it's a preset for piano.
3) I don't know why the dlls were not being installed. Once I changed the firewall, the path to the vst folder appeared properly. Before it was just the program (uninstall) path.

Any ideas/ The r2r installers only installer the BLOBs and probably the uninstall exe BUT NO VST ! Not in any location. Al the installers are the same, so it must be me.
I have the APP running, It come sup as NO INTERNET (as it is firewalled) there is no DOWNLOAD et al buttons in the APP.
I've clean installed 3 times now.

can anyone write step by step how to install all this and how to block it in the host file?
I read all the comments and I don't understand any of it.
Write step by step how to install it correctly R2R says block in host others write block in firewall it's hard to understand what you have to do.

and an additional question, can the sounds be installed on another drive, e.g. on the D drive or does everything have to be on the system drive?
the VR version allows you to install sounds anywhere.

This is how I got everything to work with Sordum Hosts Editor I used :: as ip address and used domain names provided in R2R.txt and it looks like this It all works for me fine.

Please Help !! after replacing app.asar file, installing ujam product, I get an error while launching Ujam App:

PS: Windows 10 is installed on a macmini. Could it be the problem ?
