DDMF PluginDoctor v. 2.2.0.4 [MOCHA] X86 x64 screenshot
AudioZ Exclusive | VST3 / VST2 | X86 x64 | 11.4 MB

Plugindoctor fills a longstanding gap in the market: a cross-platform and cross-bitformat plugin analyzer for VST and AU plugins. Whether you are a plugin developer yourself who wants to thoroughly test the audio quality of your latest and greatest product, or a power user who wants to understand in more detail what exactly a specific plugin is doing to your precious audio material, Plugindoctor will help you find out!

Features:

Highest quality, double precision FFT engine, independent stereo channel analysis
Linear analysis: magnitude and phase response using delta or random input signal
Harmonic analysis: highly accurate frequency response analysis to a sinusoidal input signal. Input strength and frequency can be varied for THD/THD+N calculation. Switchable intermodular distortion modus. Sweep function for fundamental and THD response.
Oscilloscope: watch what happens to a sinusoidal input signal in real time.
Dynamics: use a ramping signal to test compression or expansion, or an attack-release signal to check your compressor’s attack and decay curves.
Performance: how many milliseconds are really spent in your plugin’s audio processing callback (as a function of buffer size)
Ability to load two plugins in parallel for simultaneous analysis
Freely resizable user interface
Three quality settings, corresponding to three different FFT buffer sizes
Storage option of curves in Linear and Harmonic analysis mode for easy comparison of settings or of different plugins
Built-in screenshot function
Standalone version: comes as a 32 and a 64 bit executable

Plugin version: available in VST/VST3/AU/AAX format for parallel analyzing and listening in your DAW
Can load VST, VST3 and (on Mac) AU effect plugins

If you’ve been looking for an all-encompassing plugin analyzer, this is it.

Does anyone know how to open Waves plugins in Plugin Doctor since there are only Waveshells in my plugin folder? I'm on Mac but maybe it's the same concept on Win too

Great question. i believe it works with vst2 waveshells. you load one of them then select which one you want from the shell menu.

I have all the Waves single plugins in its own folder. They are small pointers, like a loader, or proxy. You make these tiny files (like JBridge, but only one file for each instead of .txt and .dll - this is only .dll) with shell2vst64.exe. I did it a long time ago, so I can't help with steps at the moment - unless someone really needs. I think, and can be wrong, that I dropped the Waveshells, one by one, on to the command prompt running of it. The linked archive has a tiny graphic to help! Let me know if there is more help needed. Not a thing.

This should bring clarity to any confused, and should at least give the right idea: Screenshot

I found this link of WaveShell on a forum everybody here knows but did not test it. Use at your own risk or find it yourself instead.

As you can see, I keep it right below the real "Waves" program files folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves Shell

New Waves version installed? Just repeat the process to be thorough and have the new plugins - but not needed for ALL the old ones. Just go for those.

How to test if you done it well, in the quickest way? Drag and drop one of the created .dlls on to Blue Cat's Patchwork. Bam. Nice plugin, dude. Shame if someone turned a dial. :)

You can JBridge the .dll shell files you made to bridge them to x86 world, if you really want to. It works well. Point to the whole shell folder and make JBridge go. It takes about 5-10 minutes and continuously steals the mouse pointer until it is done.

While "LinearAnalysis" works, clicking on "HarmonicAnalysis" freezes the standalone version as well as the plugin-version reliably.

The untouched demo works exactly the same. It doesn't "freeze" the application, host or itself but the graph overlay screen does pause. It is loaded plugin-dependent. Try another plugin and see if it continuously redraws the screen. My testing shows it does, once again, plugin dependent.

There might be something about certain plugins that cause it to stop or whatnot. This is DDMF update necessitating, I believe, as is the frame not resizing with canvas issue too. While DDMF is busy updating, I think it a wise idea for them and end users alike, that they fix the book icon click to VST management list crash that happens, before license is applied. Block the page if interested to do so, but don't cause a purposeful crash (if indeed it was purposeful.)

Have at it: MOCHA DDMF PD 2.0.4 Files Network Disabled

As I am playing with it more, I think maybe it is possible the HarmonicAnalysis tab redrawing or not, and doing how it is doing, is manufacturer-intended and purposeful.

For instance, I have Arousor opened in it and the screen looks to not be redrawing but the OpenGL is pumping out frames like nobody's business. Then, if I adjust any dial in Arousor, the magic is seen immediately in unison.

Also, toggle the switch at top right, from THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) to IHM - and then it is different, of couse. You will see what I mean. Same for the Single vs. Sweep switch.

This just happened to me too. Timebombed. The plugin does load, it just tells you the demo expired and crashes until you load a plugin to analyse.

That's because you allow it to connect to the internet.
Guys, please, when you use warez, never let it connect to the internet.

quote by TeamCubeadoobyYou all better firewall AND for better measure, enter into HOSTS file:

0.0.0.0 ddmf.eu

It looks for hacked hashes at http://70.32.89.3/HackedHashes.txt

It looks for blocked licenses at: http://70.32.89.3/BlockedLicenses.txt

And license is dealt with at https://ddmf.eu/licensecallback.php?email=

Plugin versions: https://ddmf.eu/PluginVersions.txt

Copy and paste this to a .txt file. Rename it to .bat, then run it by clicking or double-clicking on it. It will add blocking for 70.32.89.3 to Windows Firewall:

set ip=70.32.89.3
netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="BLOCK IP ADDRESS - %ip%" dir=in action=block remoteip=%ip%
netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="BLOCK IP ADDRESS - %ip%" dir=out action=block remoteip=%ip%

For those who missed it like myself and get timebomb, contact r2r, do the above to fix it. Thank you TeamCube... pays to read comments section, me- duh!

Thanks, I somehow missed the comments. I blocked that ip address in Windows Firewall and it seems work now. And thanks TeamCube.

Now it's timebombing again even with the ip blocked on firewall (manually and with the .bat script). Same message as before. I have reset my IP, but it's not helping.

It is most likely that you are using a fake VPN that is really a proxy instead, and that doesn't use your own hosts file (or is configured not to) -OR- you are using system-set TOR and don't have something like Privoxy doing the same job as hosts but only for the proxy.

If using Privoxy: Open user.action in Notepad or similar. Search for "+block{Nasty ads" Under this section, you can add full addresses or domains. For example:

{ +block{Nasty ads.} }
www.example.com/nasty-ads/sponsor.gif
location.services.mozilla.org
detect.portal.firefox.com
detectportal.firefox.com
firefox.settings.services.mozilla.com
consent.youtube.com
ddmf.eu

The hard-coded i.p. address might still foul you up in this scenario - I am unsure if Privoxy can block a specific address or range.

I actually have the standalone and plugins here stripped of all that jazz and even on a wide-open system, none of it can call home. If it is REALLY needed after the above, perhaps I will make it available. Keep me updated on it. PM or here, either is fine.

It is actually damn cool watching Doctor when you keep pressing the random die button for the presets in Infiltrator.

Edit: Ahhh I see I DID make the clean versions available but the link is down. Get it here. DDMF PluginDoctor 2 v2.0.4-MOCHA (TCD Call Home removed).rar

You might have to clean your system of something it did while you were in a state of funk, for it to all work well from here on out. Let me know if you run into troubles and we shall investigate.

Thank you! The first thing I did after reading your reply is to download your link, run the .bat inside, then run the exe and it's working for now. As for the rest of your message I'll say that I haven't done anything fancy in this PC other than change the host file and grant permissions to a few folders so certain keygens work. I've never used VPN, but I know that my ISP does funny things (I can't find my geolocalization when I search my IP information, it shows an address from far away).

As for my host file, I think it's not being bypassed, because I can't access the DDMF website which has the same address that is being blocked on host file.

I'll keep reporting if something wrong happens in the future. Again, thank you.

Thanks.
I blocked the addresses in your previous .bat directly in my hosts file and it still didn't work.
The updated version above seems fine so far.
