Can anyone confirm if they've finally sorted out scaling to 4k? It boggles the mind how izotope has the worst GUI scaling of almost all plugin manufactures. Even no-name brands can get it right but not izotope. You'd think someone in the company works with either a single or multi-monitor 4k setup by now.

No scaling options and in WIndows 11 opens blurry by default. As the previous version, needs to be put on override DPI by application

I made an offical post along with another free but cool post too, but if you want to get this now, more power to ya. It is 2.2 MB installer that adds VST2 for RX 10 Pro, so you can also Jbridge them to x86 world.

Were they able to get RX audio separation engine up to par with the competition or they are still lacking on that side?

Still lacking. I will go and say RX's method of separation is obsolete. We now have tools and programs that are able to separate stems and vocals to a point that it's convincing enough to enjoy the instrumentals.

RipX is the one I use ( and its great...not perfect but good enough) but there is 1 or 2 other website that super convincing as well...but just extremely expensive. RX was awesome a few years ago. They kind of open the door to a whole other level of seperation. But they are now gone out of that world apparently. I just downloaded it and can confirm that its still pretty bad. A lot worst then others for sure.

Hit 'n' Mix RipX DeepAudio, and Ultimate Vocal Remover 5

UVR: The best of the best to extract/remove vocals from a song. Though, you will need to be commited to understand some of the technicalities of the tool in order to use it to its fullest potential. For example, it features many AI models, but all of them were taught with different data sets and thus will generate different results depending on what you're trying to achieve. The developers have done a great job, not only at making this, but also giving explanations in full detail regarding all the options and features of the tool.

RipX: A pretty convincing stem creator. It isolates each stem incredibly well, much better than RX. In my system it's also faster than RX. For vocals it's also pretty good, but for this alone UVR might be best suited.

Here's a post I did on Gearslutz in March:
Take it for what it is. Its not intended to be anything scientific but really just a straight off the bat comparison.

I picked a random Flac track from my ''To Sample'' folder and converted it to WAV.

Its a Polish singer and the track is from 1981.

Smooth ballad / Soft Rock love song type of Recording.

I've splitted the test in 6 different part;

1-Drums Isolation in a Quiet part
2-Drums Isolation in a Louder part
3-All Instruments minus the vocals Isolation in a Quiet part
4-All Instruments minus the vocals Isolation in a Louder part
5-Vocal Isolation in a Quiet part
6-Vocal Isolation in a Louder part

All part goes like this :
-Original
-RipX
-Lalal.ai
-iZotope RX 9
-Audioshake

I've tried to keep it at the Original Sample rate and bit depth but some wouldnt take it ( I'm looking at YOU Lalal.ai ).

So they are in 24/96 and were too big in File Size to attach to this message directly so I upload them to my personal Drive.

thanks R2R ---but if what you want is to separate acapellas from instruments and other percussion sounds...the RIPX software is the best program for that...it's made just for that

I selected AAX first on my windows pc,
unfortunately Adobe premiere didn't show any of the add ons even I scanned the audio components twice

I then reinstalled the rx 10,
this time selecting the VST3
which was scanned through and included in the premiere 22.6 OK

I wonder if this rx 10 release targets the Avid not the premiere since the rx 10 component folder is located in an avid folder in my pc although I don't have the avid installed

or this rx 10 has some beta issues or missing parts for adobe premiere users

and it is not officially released by izotope yet

thats my 5 cents in

if anyone using adobe premiere and comes accross such issues too, I then am not alone in this instance

i dont know if i get your post 100% right but adobe premiere doesn't support AAX... if the "Avid" folder you're pointing out is the one under Common File it's absolutely normal... so what this release lacks for premiere? it works as the older versions used to work...

adobe premiere has listed the vst3 plugins not the aax

I must have misunderstood the earlier comment:
If you are on Windows or Mac and use Pro-Tools then AAX . For any other DAW VST3


I have windows (while I don't use Pro-Tools) so as a windows user I misunderstood that I should have picked the aax

Just to put it simple, AAX is exclusively for Protools.
All other programs use vst2 and/ or vst3.

when I try to extract the archive, it tells me that the file is corrupt and the required volume is absent, I downloaded it twice from two different mirrors, how did everyone else get it to work?
