u can find them in :
users/public/documents/Native Access/ras3

if u delete them and Start Native Access all your serials (if u legit user) will be rebuild.
This works, but NOT for Maschine2 itself ! Even if u have a legit version, the Maschine2 Serial will NOT rebuild and Maschine2 will stay in Demo mode.

This is exactly my problem, i can´t even install my Original on the PC i have previosly installed the R2R Version - On my Macbook and on my Surface Pro all works fine with my Original.....

What I found out so far: Starting Native Access always puts this version back into demo mode plus it seems to have some sort of timer and (randomly?) resets itself even without starting NA.

ok, if it is hard to crack, i can understand what happens....

BUT : How can i revert what the R2R release have done with my Original License ?
for now i can´t use my Original on my Main PC and also not the Crack :-(
So i search for a way to kickout the Maschine Serial generated by the R2R Keygen to let Native Access rebuild the Keydatabase for me ! Any ideal ?
Deleting the .jwl files will NOT help, that was my 1st try -> Still Demo (Not in the list of my purchased Items) and even if i manual Add my original Serial of Maschine2 Software if tells me that i have successfully Added "Etheral Earth" instead of "Maschine 2 Software"... That drives me Crazy !

Any hint to Fix this will be welcome !

Try using a program tool like Revo uninstaller ,MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta or windows install clean up to completely remove any traces then revert back to your original

Do you see Maschine 2 in Native Access under "Installed Products"? Then you can just mouse over on the right where it says "FULL VERSION" and click reinstall. (Depending on your internet connection and number of products, it may take a few minutes until this button becomes active.)

No it´s shown Demo and after reinstall it remain in Demo mode.
If i uninstall it N.A. even don´t show Maschine 2 under not installed ! but as a legit user it should be there !!!

Nope, even 2.11 (and all earlier Versions) will only be a Demo on my PC. Original Serial still not Acceptet as it should !

I have this working on three Windows 7 systems. Tested on two more-- oddly I can't get this to be NOT a Demo.... tried a Windows 7 system (offline) and a Windows 10 system (fully offline).

Sometimes the KG works, sometimes it doesn't. I don't know why.

"Your hardware has changed." That's the message it says in the DEMO / BUY / ACTIVATE window. Hardware was not changed. I searched all over and found nothing... no way to fix this.

Last version installed, 2.10.1 (from here).

The KG says everything was successfuly registered but checking RegEdit, there is no KEY, SNO, or SYSTEMID keys installed, in Maschine 2 (HKEY LOCAL MACHINE).

Can anyone help? Usually R2R stuff is perfect.

I just cannot figure out why I can't get it happening.

I tried the other "backdoor" way, of just copying the Maschine 2.exe (2.12.0) and copying it to the Maschine 2 directory (same place the 2.10.1 is, the main Maschine folder), renaming the 2.12 file to "Maschine 2 (point 12).exe" and no luck that way, either.

Full install / update doesn't work, and neither does this. The Pirate, where are you! Thanks!

The registry key for Maschine 2 is "Machine 2 Bundle", but this version doesn't seem to use it anymore. The keygen creates or modifies a JWT-file in the ras3-folder called "fccc863c ...".

It works on my system (Win10 2004) as long as I don't start Native Access afterwards - starting NA puts it back into demo mode.

Thank you for the information. I don't have NA installed on the computer at all, as it is fully offline. I do notice the JWT file with that name. But I don't understand how to get anything working. It works on some systems, and not on others. I like to test things out with various configurations, but no luck at all with these two systems.

The last official R2R release was 2.6.5.

Should all Maschine releases (between 2.6.5 and 2.12.0) be uninstalled completely? Should 2.6.5 be installed and then 2.12.0? I did in that order and it still does not work.

Again, Windows 7 (or 10). Fully offline systems. No Native Access installed. Some systems work (Windows 7 only). Don't know exactly what to do to make it work.

When 2.12.0 works, there is a random serial # shown when you go to the info screen. It doesn't match anything in the Registry. Previous versions of Maschine (2.10.1 and others) show no serial # in the info screen.

Any help or advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone still having issues with Windows 10 or 7?

I went into the "Offline" folder, inside the Setup folder. I found the Maschine 2.exe. Copied and pasted it to the desktop.

Ran it right from there. It's a 50/50 chance it works. Another Windows 7 system: fine. It generates a random serial #, without using the KG at all.

Windows 7 systems it works on: 3 (all desktops, coincidentally).
Windows 7 systems it doesn't: 2 (both laptops)
Windows 10 systems it works on: 0

All systems are offline.

If anyone can provide any additional information, that would be most helpful. If not, we can wait until the next patch update. NI says a small hotfix or update is coming.

I saw a Reaktor 6.4.0 post where someone mentioned deleting the associated .jwt file from the "nas3" folder (Windows), and then running the KG to Register All Products. Couldn't get that to work and make Reaktor the full, not demo. Someone then pointed to another post that just had the description "Win", which everyone said has worked (about to try it).

There's got to be a way to do the same, with Maschine 2.12. There's got to be a way.

The only way I got this working was with Windows 7 TOWERS (a custom one, and two Dells). Laptops will not work. A serial is generated with the towers, but is blank on the laptops. Clarifying-- all of these systems are completely offline with wifi off, or no wifi at all.

On a totally absolutely fresh Windows 7 install, I get "Your activation is invalid" on the laptop, not "Your hardware has changed" (which happens when the install isn't absolutely fresh (for the fresh one, all I had installed was Windows 7, SP1), which is interesting.

Can anyone help at all with this?

Also, when R2R say "includes Patched and KG"... does it mean there are actual patched files hidden somewhere, that I don't know about? Possibly in the OFFLINE folder? I tried those (well, Maschine 2.exe) and it won't work, nor will the KG work, either. The file size is exactly the same as the installed version. Usually when something says Patched it means there is a separate folder with Patched files, that you overwrite.

WORKING SOLUTION:

I wiped one of the Windows 7 laptops clean. Installed Windows 7, 64-bit. All necessary runtimes, and .NET framework 4.8.

I installed in order:
Maschine 2 Library (version 1.0.0) from here
Maschine 2.0.0 software (R2R) from here

I did NOT run the registry-entry thing that is included in the 2.0.0 installer.

I copied the 2.12.exe from the Data\OFFLINE folder (from this page)... it's the 4th folder down (called 9B2BF889). I just copied the "Maschine 2.exe" file.

I then renamed the installed 2.0.0 file to "Maschine 200.exe" (Program Files\Native Instruments\Maschine 2) so as to not overwrite it, with the new one.

Then I pasted the newest version, into the same folder that "Maschine 200.exe" is in. It pastes as "Maschine 2.exe (thus, not overwriting, as above).

I ran that file. It gave me the Demo screen. But the message was encouraging when it said "Thank you for your interest in Maschine 2!" or whatever.

Then, I used the KG (from this page) and ONLY registered "Maschine 2" (nothing else... not "Register all things". Just "Maschine 2."

I ran "Maschine 2.exe" (from the Program Files\Native Instruments\Maschine 2 folder).

No Demo screen.

What's left to do now is update the library to 1.3.4 as required... and install Previews. And of course, register the Maschine 2 Library (via this KG).

It works, though. IT WORKS. IT WORKS.

All these versions from 2.0.0 to 2.11.... get rid of them. Maybe uninstall EVERYTHING and clear out your Native Instruments Registry folder... entirely.

Follow the steps like this, and it works.

Is it just a few people having problem with it ?
Because usually R2R releases are bullet proof, and if not, they soon release a fix.
Also, Should all libraries be updated to 2.0 (when available).
I need backward compatibility with old projects.
Any advice ?

Expansions for 12 have to be upgraded to 2 or 2.1. Some that havent been updated that are 1.01 (the older ones) still work. I havent tried it yet but for the guy that couldn't reinstall his previous version after trying 12, there is a tool on ni site that lets you erase the registry for ni applications... Maybe if we delete everything with this for registry keys, the 12 COULD work imo. Havent tested it yet but saw this and worth mentioning imo. Maybe it works for guitar rig and the other new soft that doesn't install properly.

No, it doesnt work.
I tried all the tricks from the past and theres always things that say they are not authorised with this version, so I reverted back to 2.11 and it works fine.
We need a new version from the people who did version 2.11, as there versions authorise everything automatically.
Whereas the R2R version uses a Keygen that doesnt authorise everything.
The latest version (which is now 2.12.2) would be better too (so we dont need to update again for a while) as Liquid Energy & Soul Magic dont load in version 2.11.

like Kontakt6, Reaktor, Monark, Massive, Battery4, etc ...
And having Kontakt5 R2R and Kontakt6 P2P Protable both installed might bring an issue too.
