See my previous post : I installed the "base" Omnisphere, then updated to 2.3.2h then, following DECIBELLE install order I updated to 2.6.0e and it is working beautifully.

I can't install as when I try the sound source library installer it States the progress is lengthy up to 3 hours etc as thought it is installing from scratch rather tan updating the existing steam folder
it says waiting for volume to be inserted and won't go any further

My fully working Omnisphere software is currently 2.5.0d
soundsources v2.5.1c
patches 2.5.1c
moog 1.4c

any ideas gratefully received

Yup, I've been stuck on this for the past few updates. I don't know why I but maybe it is because I have the STEAM folder installed on a separate drive and not my boot drive.

So do i, no luck so far...

I forgot to mention my steam folder is on a separate drive but have not had any issues until now

I'm having exact the same problem, but instead having the STEAM Folder on an external hard drive, I'm having mine on the actual hard drive in my Macbook Pro.

As far as I know: This should be fixed by the update v2.5.something.
It was a known problem from Spectrasonics.

I don't know, maybe thats the issue...

Is there a default place for the STEAM folder? Maybe in the Library somewhere?

Strange, Omnisphere Software update 2.6.0e (posted by DECiBELLE) now doesn't appear in recent release along Soundsource Library update 2.6.0c and Patch Library update 2.6.0c.

Is this post was removed? if yes, why? TIA

Hi guys, for everyone who's experiencing issue in Mac installer where it would show "Waiting for volume to be inserted" - disregard the installer and just install manually using copy/paste the contents in the steam folder.

All previous updates worked for me fine. This one is asking me to Authorize Omnisphere again and the KeyGen now won't work... hmmm....

UPDATE:
Like the idiot that I'm capable of being... I didn't notice the KeyGen/Patch file in the Software Update download... just patched the plugins and all is working perfectly.

Hola, yo he reemplazado tanto el Soundsource 2.6.0 como los patches machacando los de de la versión 2.0.1 (o 2.0.3, no recuerdo bien) y ha funcionado a la perfección.
Previamente he instalado el update 2.6 y le he metido el keygen (pasando el component al escritorio y picando en "patch" en el keygen, luego meto el password tras obtener un "patched succesfully"), tras eso devuelvo el component a su carpeta original.
Tengo la carpeta STEAM en un disco duro SSD externo usb 3 ultra rápido y he hecho una "copia de seguridad" de la 2.0.1 renombrando las carpetas de la versión 2.0.1 que también trae Soundsource como Patch library 2.6.0 c y e y ya está, nada más, Omnisphere funciona perfectamente.
Mac Pro 3.1 con Yosemite y Logic pro X 10.2.

So for those having problems on windows
I'm using win 10 had install issues, already had it installed and the last time I installed it it was the update that first introduced the emulations feature, what ever version that was. So try this if you having problems installing. Unpack the installer to you C drive, your root folder. the name is very long, also be sure to install as admin, also turn off all you virus crap it need to locate previously installed version so it need access to your files. after install use the kg to patch the DLL you likely not have to do more than that IF you installed the last version I did. Good luck it work fine for me also be sure to install in the order they say "see install order"

I'm having trouble with installing the soundsource patch library on Win(7). I'm getting a error about "~BundleArchives.db2" "an error occurred while trying to read the source file: The system cannot find the path specified." I followed the path that is listed in the error box and it matches the path that is directed to. If anyone can help i'll greatly appreciate it.

Im having the same trouble as the rest of you on Mac. Keeps asking to insert media. So I manually copied everything over from the STEAM folder and installed the software update. But now its asking me to Authorize the app again. Can I use the original Keygen? Anyone get it working on MAC?

i patched everything then open omnisphere in logic and when i open plugin there is no sound :/ how to fix this?

Mac Waiting for Drive Solution:

Just copy the files from the included steam folder manually into your steam folder.
Worked fine for me.

(Be sure to make a backup-copy of the files you are going to overwrite, just in case it won't work for you)

Is anybody experiencing an issue with Omnisphere 2 connected with the randomly blank/clear preset windows for some instrumental layers after reopening your project? I still can't find any solution to this problem after reading all the forums connected with this problem (on AudioSEX, etc.). (Mac OS, Logic Pro X).
Every help would be much appreciated! Thank you:)
