Royal, compared to Rawdy and Mellow which are working perfectly, has a weird behaviour: it takes ages to load into Reaper (15-20m) and it makes weird noises everytime a parameter is accessed (moving a switch or a pot, or changing presets)

I too noticed this. Royal actually loads much more of it's blob library into RAM memory than the other two on my system (in addition to already having the largest library file). I've had it load as quick as ~3-1/2 minutes. The last time it took 4:40 min. I've got the blob's in the default location- "ProgramData\UJAM\VB-ROYAL\VB-ROYAL.blob. (according to ujam) Has anyone found a way to decrease loading time by moving the blob location?

AFAIK, the conventional wisdom around these parts is don't update within the plugin.
