Machine learning is a subset of AI. That's the way the language has evolved. Like it or not we can only stand by and watch words and teminology get hijacked (like 'meme') by popularity. Anyway, you say tomato, I say tomato (doesn't quite work in text).

Interested to give this "AI" a try. Eventually AI should be better at all this stuff than humans. Including complete composition. Scary thought but we can always argue the emotional factor. The human je ne sais quoi - whether valid or not. Hopefully I'll be dead by that stage. :P

Question: Which other EQ has this A.I. engine which automatically creates tonal balance?
DMG Equilibrium or even iZotope Ozone Tonal Balance don't have such feature.
OK, if you have good/perfect ears, you don't need it, clear. But when not or even
this time saving function is incredible! Or I'm wrong?

Track assist certainly does have some form of AI - well 'machine learning'.
If you choose a preset, it analyses the content and EQs to what it thinks it should be.

I don't know how it compares to smartEQ with regard to removing resonant frequencies and final tonal balance though. But it is very good at showing you where your instruments are clashing/ masking each other. It sounds very similar in function to SmartEQ, only SmartEQ appears to do it without showing you how clever it is.

I think 'Sound better' is too subjective a question to answer.

There are two that I know of that work in real time (no "profile creation" needed): HoRNet ThirtyOne, which sucks, and Thimeo Stereo Tool, which is absolutely amazing.
