If you have the hard drive space ....
I understand the idea that Kontakt + Libraries is sufficient to create nearly anything ...
But who knows what inspiration might emerge from a struggle... be it a difficult old piece of hardware, or some different software / sounds.
Who knows? It may contain JUST that sound you could only create with Kontakt by messing up the settings in some sound library ... (?)

that doens't include independence for macOS no ? It is just the lib ? I ask since I havent found independence fopr macOS at all

There seems to be a lack of clarity ....
Yes - They are the yellow tools library and a lot more. All yts extensions.
Yes - The quality is good - many are extremely useful and many are excellent - some could be better. The older yellow tools sounds have been sample rate upgraded it seems.

WORTH NOTING:
They not only load better in Best Service Engine 2 which many people have, but they also are manipulated better in it and often sound better using it.
