Since when has simply deleting sh*t you didn't want.. been a 'method'.

I've been doing this with waves for years. Install the lot, then go to the waves plug-ins folder and deleted 2/3 of the crap that nobody even wants, leaving the handful of half decent stuff. Not rocket science.

This is amazing!!! The emulator is amazing! One can only hope for more releases to be done this way . R2R literally saved my ass. I wish I could do more than just thank you (nothing sexual).

My installation doesn't let Waves plugs show up in DAWs. I altro stried ''shell2vst'' but it's not working at all. Whenver I drop a waveshell_v10 on it it says that 0 vsts were created

OK, did I need to install new Waves central 10? And then what ? Offline installer? Which folder to choose ? Did I need to register & login into Waves central 10 ? Install info say "just run installer, enjoy" and now I don't have any of the V9 Waves plugin anymore :(

Not works at all in any of my DAW, no support and here is a few very negative comments about this download they are removed. All my V9 plugins are wiped, I don't have anymore any valid Waves license and I now must reinstall all my V9 waves plugins again :(
Be very careful with this I also read on other forums, people doesn't recommend this.

Sorry but this is v10, and it included ALL current waves product,
where did you read they can coexist with v9 exactly?
And which one you don't have now? afaik they haven't removed products with 10, at least they added new ones.

It works, and pretty damn well also.
No support? As in customer support? I'm on the f*****in floor right now.

I'm confused, do you guys ever read .NFO file?
Or you never bothered understand what that obscure file is,
and still asking yourself why windows tries
to open it -without success- with SystemInformation?

I'm sure most people downloading a release know both what the .NFO file is, and how to open it. If there is anyone new to this (everyone starts somewhere), the easiest way to open an .NFO file is with Windows Notepad, or any text reader. There is also an "NFO reader" located in the 'system tools' part of the website (left-hand side, open 'software,' and click 'system tools.' Look for "Damn NFO READER, and just download and install it. It will show the NFO the way it was meant to be shown by the releaser or group), which will open the NFO. But 'notepad' will do in a pinch.
It's critical to read the .nfo file before installing anything, and follow it precisely, in the steps directed - nothing more and nothing less (for 99.9% of all releases).
Sometimes we get excited and just install, but have patience, and install the software EXACTLY as described in the NFO.
I hope this helps those few who might want to know, but don't want anyone to know you are new to this. There is no shame in not knowing how to do something - there is only shame in not doing what you should do AFTER you've learned how important it is.

I know for sure near to half of the end users don't, at least on Mac.

Positivity is so built into my nature I can't do it any other way - it's an old teacher's technique: in the words of the old song, "A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, the medicine go down..." The only .nfo's that really throw me are the ones in Russian - Aggggggh! Both of our approaches, in combination, will hopefully make even a percentage of end-users read the .nfo's. In a release like this one, for instance - so incredibly easy - those who don't read the .nfo's get all tangled up in details like the one you answered, when R2R kindly made it so simple, that a 2nd-grader should have been able to do it. They want to add more steps, and the entire release just crumbles. It would be funny, if it wasn't such a time-waster for those wanting to help. This was a spectacularly well-done release - smooth as silk, simple as walking. Thanks for your comments.

This is a place of "no guarantees", yet it is full of helpful and generous people ...
I won't make criticism here and now, but only offer a suggestion...
One thing that will improve anyone's experience with computers in general:
Make full backups before installing software.
Please use this experience to finally convince yourself that you MUST do that.
I feel safe to install anything.
This is a hobby for me to experience thousands of dollars worth of cutting-edge audio programs. For this experience I have invested in two backup hard drives and time invested in practicing restoring backups.
This applies to this nice Waves Complete v2018.07.23 Incl Emulator-R2R release, just to stay on topic ;)

So basically you have blamed R2R for your problems, but realize this, the majority of people having problems with installs etc is due to user error, as is the case with you.

Because you didn't uninstall and/or install correctly, no but...... but....., that's the problem, end of line, and why did you install Waves Central from Waves site, it doesn't say to do that in the nfo, so why...why... gee, well that explains why you have " NO ANY LICENSE ANYMORE!"

There shouldn't have been any Waves in your system when you started the install of 10, you have to uninstall everything completely and clean up as stated by R2R before install.

Just right click Setup Waves Complete 2018.07.23 application and select run as administrator.

You are asking questions that don't need to be asked, just follow the simple instructions.

Well it picks the first folder for you, which is the main Waves folder that goes in
C:\Program Files (x86) Waves.
So nothing to do there, just continue to where it asks what you want to install, VST 2, VST 3 etc.

No one can tell you what your VST 2 folder is, only you know what it's called if you named it, and it's where you install 3rd party plugs that your DAW uses, so if the folder you install your plugs to is called idontgivearatsbuttVSTplugs, then select that folder, then install, easy as, if you have never made your own VST folder, then someone could tell you, so then the location would be Vstplugins or Steinberg in Program Files

Yes, info, you have all the info you need in the R2R text, just do what it tells you to do and Bob's your uncle.

So after you uninstalled waves, did you check these locations as per the info...

So uninstall waves, clean up those locations, also check your VST2 folder and Common Files VST3 folder, if there are any waveshells delete them, wouldn't hurt to run a reg cleaner as well like wisecare 365 or what ever, then install Waves 10 as per the few easy steps, and bonza.
Also, turn off your internet when uninstalling/installing.

wow best waves from R2R ever, finally no issues with no license found everytime i load studio one 4, and the motion and omni channel are present, BIG HUGE hug for R2R thx

Everything is included except some instrument samples.
Just uninstall previous version, do clean up as stated in the nfo, and install as per instructions, right click Set up Waves Complete 2018.07.23 application and select run as administrator, offline, so turn off internet when uninstalling and installing.
