Three-Body Technology proudly presents Heavier7Strings, a real-time playable sample-based virtual instrument thats brings back Heavy Metal to your productions. Equipped with a complete effect rack and a patterns library, this metal-style guitar library has everything you need!

The love for music, and a desire to create innovative studio technology was the mainspring that made Heavier7Strings possible. With total of 4 years in the making, using only top quality equipment, more than 10.000 samples were painstakingly recorded in 24-bit and 48 kHz. To top it all off Heavier7Strings comes with a self-developed sampler with no compromise on sound quality.

The Effect Rack
What is the first thing to do when one starts a virtual guitar? Usually it is to bypass all built-in effects, as they are mostly too primitive for any serious work. However, the effect rack provided in Heavier7Strings is complete and of production-level quality, not just a toy!

Effects Overview:
•19 Heavy Metal Effect Modules: Screamer, EQ12, AMP, Flanger, Pingpong delay, etc.
•16 AMPs with styles from heavy metal to clean sound, processing sample rate up to 8X
•66 cabinet IRs, four can be mixed simultaneously with different delay, volume and phasing
•Preset manager allows you to store your own effect presets, along with 200 factory presets

MIDI Patterns Library
Heavier7Strings contains a number of 200 predefined MIDI patterns, together with effect rack configuration. The style of these patterns ranged from metal, rock, pop, clean, and along with non-rhythmic noise and ambient sounds. All these patterns can be dragged into host DAWs, and users can define their own patterns by MIDI clip.

Patterns Overview:

•200 factory MIDI patterns together with effect rack presets
•Various styles: metal, rock, pop, clean, along with non-rhythmic noise and ambient sounds.
•Draggable into host DAWs
•Users can define their own patterns by dragging MIDI into
•Samples and Sampler
•The sampler used in Heavier7Strings is self-developed, no third-party samplers were used.
•It has following characteristics:
•Direct read from disk
•Shared sample buffer between instances to reduce memory consumption
•Automatic fade out on disk-read overtime to avoid clicks & pops.

Built-in DSP Engine

•A built-in DSP engine named THRASH (Tonal/Harmonic Reconstruction and Shaping) is included in Heavier7Strings to provide various tone adjusting functions:
+∞RR: in addition to 16x recorded RR at maximum, random timbre and envelope changes are applied on samples to provide more vivid RR playing;
•True doubling: two guitars playing simultaneously on left and right channel, each has individual random note delay and RR selection.
•Sample-based LFO: modulate sample pitch with pitch curves extracted from real-world vibrato playing. This technique is adjustable in both degree and frequency, and is more realistic than just modulate the pitch by sine/ triangle wave.
•Dynamically recoups the formant during pitch-bend.
•Digitally emulated tone knob and pickup switch;
•Adjustable tension and resonance.
•Performance
•Infinite sustain
•Hammer-on & pull-off
•Legato slide in/out
•Pinch harmonics
•Tremolo
•Gliss
•Palm-mute
•Picking-noise
•Polyphonic legato
•24 “inspiration keys” to directly trigger specially played sounds/complex performances
•String and fret board position
•Up/down picking
•Strumming: deduce complete chord from part of composing notes
•Trigger power chords from root note

1) Install
2) At the first start, specify the path to the library folder, by default in the distribution - Three-Body Tech - Heavier7Strings \ Library \ h7s_samples. When you restart it will not be necessary.

Not bad at all!! it's great lead sounds, infinite sustain, you can do one-note chords; I think it might be a keeper.

Same as what Placeholder said. I've been years Shreddage for years. Definitely think I might have finally found a replacement.

Thanks for this upload. But I have to let you guys know that this VSTi although it sound very good and presets are nice but when using it it feels like an un-finished library especially at 200 Euro.
For starter, when you want to Overview & listen to the Preset sound, when you double click on a preset, it won't load so you can immediately start playing with your Midi keyboard. In order to hear that sound you previewed with their "PLAY BUTTON" , you need to LOAD the Midi track associated with the Preset in order for you to be able to start playing your OWN midi keyboard with that sound. Very unfortunate and other things as well.

Also, this VSti works once in REaper the first time I installed it & played with it a bit.

After I re-opened Reaper and tryied to load it back and Reaper freezes.
Tried to open with Studio One, during the scan , studio one start scanning it and it freezes on OPEN.

Not really promising...

But To get some gret sounding sketch tracks done, it's a very good sounding guitar lib shame they didn't tweak it enough or make things works as you'd expect.

Thank you

Delete in the folder c: \ Users \ (UserName) \ AppData \ Roaming \ ThreeBodyTech \ Heavier7Strings \
all but the effect_presets and loops folders

Thank you for that handy little tip, man! I've just ran into the same problem on Studio One 3. Followed your advice, relocated the library folder, works like a charm! Just hope you don't have to do that all the time. But thank you!

Allow me to ask... so you have to do this trick every time you're opening or planning to use this Library???

Something is fishy and does not sound right. Again either this hasn't been well "looked at" before being uploaded here or its on the developers hands where the issue comes from. Don't get me wrong I thank the uploader & whoever made this possible but something ain't right.

The problem in DAW. IMHo.FL Studio 12 and Xonar Platinum from my acquaintance, work without failures and manipulations with removal. While S1 and Reaper with the problems.

Hi Folks !

Maybe i found the Solution for the Hangup Problems (for me it was in Ableton Live 10)
Simply
1. Delete ZCM.tbzcm in the folder c: \ Users \ (UserName) \ AppData \ Roaming \ ThreeBodyTech \ Heavier7Strings \

after restarting the Plugin :

2. Write Protect ZCM.tbzcm in the folder c: \ Users \ (UserName) \ AppData \ Roaming \ ThreeBodyTech \ Heavier7Strings \

This should fix the Problem (Workarround).
For me (as i said Ableton Live) it seems to work Stable now....

Good find there! I'll try the same in Studio One 3, then report back if it works or not.

Edit: Yep, can confirm that seems to have solved the problem in Studio One 3!

Thank you so much for that, man!

I just tried your workaround. Here is what I did, following your steps in Studio One:

- Erased the ZCM file
- Make sure you go and Delete any trace of Heavier7strings plugin in: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 4\x64\ VstBlacklist.settings

- Start Studio One back and it scanned Heavier7strings.

- New ZCM.tbzcm has been written.

My question do we need to do anything else with the ZCM file? Do we have to right click on it and Write protect it or something or just leave as it was regenerated??

Thanks

Write protect the newly generated ZCM.tbzcm file. After that, should be all gravy!

I have ran into a new error... I've been using the double track setting. Saved a project, re-opened, and the left signal is scatty as fuck. Really down-sampled. Right track is completely fine, but the left, no dice.

Edit: Works fine if I put it back into single track, but kinda defeats the object having the choice.
