I’m a very happy Mac user. I have written and finished far more on my Mac than my PC. However, Superior drummer just happens to be a go to for me personally. Do you guys think Superior 3 is a vast improvement over 2? I mean sound wise, not necessarily features.

FOr me, the sound is very different, much more expression. yes its a major improvement.
Mac has always been 2nd in the warez scene, that's why im on PC as I'm broke.
If people can afford mac, they can afford to by the software.

Thank you for the info. I will wait in anticipation. Not all mac people can afford the software though. I worked as a an apple genius for 4 years and got a huge discount on my system. I know the OS very well and I am comfortable with it. I am also good in windows, I just like my mac workflow.
Anyway, I was just curious about Superior 3, not a tired old mac/pc debate.

Me too. And even with the discount (and student discount), I was so broke that it took me several months to save up for my first Mac. The one I'm on right now, which is a $2,000 mac mini, I paid full price for and it took me over a year of saving money to be able to afford it. A lot of people say the "if people can afford mac, they can afford these plugins" argument but they don't know what some of us had to go thru to get this mac. Trust me, I'd love one of those fancy Mac Pros that go for like $5,000 LOL.
I could say I want this or want that but I'm not a spoiled brat. I appreciate the little things in life, and have everything I need. I have a roof over my head, food in my belly, and a family that helps me out when I need it. They are the simple things but they are life's most precious, and unfortunately not everyone has them. Many people take those things for granted but I'm just happy to be able to say I had a good meal last night. I was able to live with an empty wallet, an empty stomach, the kidney stones, and a broken heart, all simultaneously. I think I can live with an uncracked Toontrack Superior Drummer 3. LOL.

yeap, some people think that mac users are always rich.. I have a imac from 2011 and I'm not rich at all, I prefer the apple system that's all, preference, both are great, don't think one is better that the other, .. preferences, .. I come every day to audioz to see if SD3 for mac has been cracked he, even without all the SDX updates, we could start learning the software only, not luck yet on the mac side for SD3
