I have a general question more for the usage of this as opposed to d/l or installing, because I'm trying not to jump from one thing to another without being able to master it first.
Omnisphere allows the adding of samples for some great manipulation, can this do anything that cannot?

I haven't looked v closely @ Omnisphere's granular thing (just had quick play) but it seems 2b a "let's make pretty patterns out of sound" generator. And it treats each smpl u import just as single, complete sound. U seem 2 only b able 2 affect "whole" wave? AFAIK.

Form is kind of an interesting, almost sample-mangling, timbre-shifting thing where u specify ur own kinda "grains" within ur smpl & put them into a sort of mod-matrix thing where u twist & set loops & ADSR & filters & further mess around with lil chunks of sound by layering & change timbre / speed independantly etcs. It's rly fun!

Cheers slutty (It feels wrong calling you that!! but ya know I mean it in the nicest possible way) You can scroll backwards or forwards in the sample with omni... but you're right the 'loops' thingy could be fun. OK I'm sold.

One thing that's a bit annoying (if anyone's found solution, I'd be grateful =) is that there's no MIDI unlearn option, it seems? It means u gotta b careful when assigning stuff, cos if u "set 2 default" (only other option) it just assign 2 mod! X(

Oh yeah, there's loads more ways to change the sound than u 1st think, u do have 2 dig quite deep 2 find all the options, rly worth it tho! Even taking rly terrible smpls, and using it almost as WT synth, u get rly interesting, fun results! Thanks a lot guys!

But it saves & loads fine for me. If u got demo restrictions, try blocking in ur hosts (see earlier =)

Anyone knows if it is possible to change the pitch curve in this, and if it is how :D??

There is a pitch section, on the "FORM OSC" part when you click the "SOUND" tab on the upper GUI, just drag the 0 up or down to adjust the pitch, the "Flattent Pitch" feature adjust the absolute tone of the sound and it is linked to the "DEFORM" dial on the OSC FX section, all these can be linked to the LFOs on the right or other automations, it is possible to link these to velocity, click on the name of the dial and then on the resulting tabs, thats all I know, I'm reding the manual but you can make all kinds of adjustments to your sounds, many more than in any sampler I know, since once the sample is inside FORM, is transformed in the main synthesizer oscillator instead of a sample.

Thanks for replying :D. It surely is awesome! And i know about the pitch osc, i am thinking of the pitch curve you can see in the bottom of your sample. When i throw some samples in it it the pitch curve is changing the sound of the original sample :(.

Mmmm! maybe what you are looking for is the "RESET SOUND" in the left bottom part of the GUI, if you aere loading a sample on top of the default example your sample inherits the settings, with the "RESET SOUND" you can star from 0, but I can tell you that at least in my case the default example is a really usefull way to start tweaking a sample since is it really well done. I encourage you to read the manual and find all the amazing posibilities of this goodie.

The pitch curve just tells u what changes (in pitch) there are already in the sample u loaded. It just makes "looping" / identifying snatches of smpls a bit easier!

i know what it does. But it calculates wrong in some points. Problem is my pitch curve is changing the original sound of the orignal sample in a bad way so it sounds not like the original at all.

Reset doesn't work unfortunately. It's the pitch curve that is causing the minor issue :P. (it's only some samples where there is already applied pitch modulation in it)

Installation went well after upgrading reaktor, but FORM stills running in DEMO mode.
Any idea why? Tried to host block the addresses below but did not work for me.
