I had the same problem, after installing the plugin and start the daw me out the message: "the plugin file was corrupted Bias Please re-install plugin package" .Then when I wanted to uninstall it, told me: "Failed to deactivate the license At this machine ".Get information and find myself on the same page of Bias that when this happens is because, and I quote:" If you encounter the issue That the BIAS plug-in showing the error message as below, the internet connection would be the root cause.
BIAS plug-in needs internet connection to certificate When your first time launching device. Please try again to reinstall BIAS, With internet and launch it. .. After the first time certification and activation license, you can run without internet BIAS Desktop "Look here: http: //help.positivegrid.com/hc/en-us/articles/204452659-File-corrupted-issue.
And that's exactly what I did, connect to the internet and everything came properly, then closed the daw plugin is installed, apply the keygen and then without Internet opened the daw again and was already registered.
I also have in my pc internet, but connect my PC via the Ethernet output (LAN) to another PC that if I have internet connection, it is the only solution that has helped me. I hope I can help others.

I did ( I think ) what ret00 suggested but I had no luck with bias amps and pedal but only with bias fx
win 7 X32

1-instalar como dice R2R, es decir ,pero sin aplicar el keygen
-Uninstall previous version.
-Install the software.
2-Aquí tenemos que tener conección a internet,ya sea directa o como yo desde mi pc a otro vía LAN que sí tiene conección a internet, ya que si no tenemos conección nos saldrá el mensaje:"the plugin file was corrupted Bias Please re-install plugin package".Abrimos nuestro daw y nos debería aparecer el plugin Bias, pero claro en modo DEMO.Cerramos nuestro daw,y nos desconectamos de internet.
3-Aplicamos el keygen correspondiente al plugin y cuando abramos el daw, pero sin conección a internet debería aparecer el plugin autorizado.
Si no entiende bien el idioma por favor traducir con google traductor.

How to download presets tonecloud:
To lower tone presets from cloud: Bias connect from the plug, not add to the host folder Bias addresses so that they can connect without problems.

I installed it successfully connected to the internet , then I opened the daw and bias appeared as it should , then I closed the internet and tried to register with the keygen but the keygen showed " File access error occured " ....
If anyone else succeed with bias like ret00 , please give us a helping hand and write down in steps what you did ...

No entiendo lo que ha podido pasarte, lo único que pienso es que yo sigo trabajando luego sin conexión a internet,pero a tí lo que parece que te ocurre es que ni siquiera te deja instalar el keygen.
No se ,si se me ocurre algo ya lo diré.

for some mysterious reason the keygen doesn't seems to do it's job !!!

First time I feel so frustrated with a R2R release .... yes you've got it .... I'm a guitar player

After so many failed attempts finally I managed to do it right on win 7 32bit .
Ok ... you don't need to be connected to the internet to install ... the problem is with the leftovers from the previous version . So uninstall everything from Positive.Grid ( the previous version or the current if you managed to do that correctly connected on the internet ) and then do a search with the keyword bias or positive.grid and manually delete every Bias or positiv.grid folder you can find on your hard drive , usually the C where you install the programs , for example under Documents and Program files\Common files etc.
then clean your registry with a safe reg cleaner . After all these you'd probably be able to install and register everything ... remember ... no need to be connected on the internet ... and block the addresses as r2r suggest if you have internet on your system and you'd like to connect later.

Me alegro que hallas dado con el problema.Si que es verdad que yo tuve que limpiar registros cuando no se me instaló la primera vez, pero no se si fue eso lo que me dejó instalarlo después, la verdad es que no se...
Otra cosa si quieres bajar presets yo lo estoy haciendo para Bias Amp y Bias Fx,no me deja hacerlo para Bias Pedal.Lo que hago es que me fuí a la página de Bias y me registré para bajar una demo de cualquier bias, por ejemplo bias amp. Una vez registrado abro bias amp o bias fx en el daw con conección a internet y entro en tone cloud con ese registro.Una vez allí he bajado los presets que son compatibles con la versión de bias que tenemos.Lo que ocurre es que me deja el plugin en versión demo, no hago caso y sigo descargando presets.Una vez termino cierro el daw y me desconecto de internet, para luego registrar de nuevo con el keygen el bias amp y el bias fx si están en modo demo y luego al abrir de nuevo el daw aparecen los plugins registrados de nuevo.A mi me ha funcionado si alguien quiere probar y decinos si lo ha conseguido.

I have absolutely no problem to install this on my non internet machine and i even had the old Bias Amp version installed before.(I installed the new Bias amp over the existing one
However i saved the global presets folder and deleted the regfile from documents/bias folder..

Also this FX version was at first reg as pro but then turned into demo mode and i then use KG to reg as desktop which worked out fine.

But i wanted pro so all i did was uninstall all 3 Bias softwares delete everything saying Bias and Positive Grid on my system disc and some register files aswell.
Reinstalled used KG and reg my machine as Pro.

But it seems i cant use my old Global Presets (offline) with this new version hmm to bad as i liked some Fluff presets
