chipcrusher is an advanced bitcrusher, a speaker simulator and noise machine. It’s an audio effect which plays back input audio through a simulation of early lofi digital audio codecs (DAC Encoding), adds grit (Background Noise), and outputs through a selection of speaker and filter impulse responses (Post-Processing).

It can work as a VST/AU/RTAS plug-in for most major sequencing audio programs and supported tracker programs on Windows and OS X.

There is a wide spectrum of results achievable with chipcrusher. Here’s a few use cases:

-Uniquely destroy/mangle a beat, a guitar or any other audio track.
-Play single hits and emulate the sound of old samplers.
-Add ‘accurate dirt’ to chipsounds’s output.
Etc.

There are three main components in chipcrusher: DAC Encoding, Background Noise and Post-Processing. The audio inputs first go to the DAC Encoding. Then it get mixed with the Background Noise to finally get sent to the Post-Processing stage. Of course, each component can be bypassed on demand without muting the audio.

What I did (on MAC OSX 10.10.1):
1. downloaded Aria uninstaller and removed everyting
2. installed Chipcrusher + copied cracked plugins to my plugin folders
3. installed latest patched Aria engine (for OSX) + copied Aria.bundle to Aria folder in Application Support
4. Used keygen in Crossover to generate png for Chipcrusher

I get the message "not a valid png for Aria Engine" when a drag and drop this generated png onto the Chipcrusher plugin .....

What to do?? I think I followed the correct install procedure.

1. install any Plogue plugin you like
2. download aria engine from this link
/software/win/88280-download_plogue-aria-engine-v1822-incl-patched-and-keygen-win-osx-r2r.html
3. replace the file

done!!!!!

Just Don't Forget every time you install new Plogue plugins you need to reinstall the Aria Engine.

2.Now you can register your license with our keygen!....the keygen dose Not register it for me

1. install this plugins
2. then install ARIA Engine

first you install the plugins then you install The ARIA Engine !!!!!!!

done!!!!!!!

if you will install another plugins then you need to Reinstall the ARIA Engine Again .....
because when you install the plugins it's rewrite the files in ARIA Engine or more clear it Patch the Files to Default Stage ......

This thing is cool, I've been using it quite a bit. It sounds rad for industrial drums in particular. I use is on layers of Reece basses sometimes as well.

mylonojr - you need to install the aria engine, which is separate

the keygen drops a file
r2rariakeygen.dll

This shows as a trojan and the keygen seems to function without it

Any thoughts on what the dll is, or is this what the exe runs??

i cant get the ARIA keygen to run... so the plug is still running in demo mode... anybody have any luck? im on windows btw

Something within the ARIA engine phones home, my chipcrusher just stopped working, nagging me about paying for the software one uses. Might be because I had used an earlier version authorized via keygen and when I installed the updates (aria engine last) the plugins worked straight from the box with the old authorization.

And actually on that note does anybody have an idea how to remove license in plogue plugins? Uninstalling the plugins alone doesn't do the trick.
