Sampling is at the heart of golden era hip hop. After the first wave of early 1980s drum-machine-oriented records, New York DJs and producers began to look to their vinyl collections for material to sample for local MCs. Taking advantage of the first generation of sampling workstations, these artists sliced up jazz, rock, soul, and funk records and used them as the foundation for beats.

PROSPECT HAZE uses these same sampling techniques to recreate the smooth, silky sound heard on classic hip hop recordings. The drums invoke the sound of breakbeats from 1960s- and 1970s-era rock, R&B, and funk sampled straight from the original vinyl.

You should hear some of the things I've played on logs, they weren't all in 4/4 though... and by the way 4/4 is a time signature not a tempo. ;)

i've been trying to get to try just the drums in this release. I don't mess with cracked programs, I just like to test out .wav's. this only works apparently for win 7 (is what its telling me)... same for the ni marble rims release and i have vista :( . some of the drums sounded really nice in the demo. its all good though. this sounds like a good release for those who will be able to use it. thanks and peace

Yeah unfortunately the move to Visual Studio 2013 cuts off some users. You should really at least upgrade to 7 and for that version you can still use a boot loader so a cracked version is easy peasy.

does somebody have a folder of the wav files? I don't have a cracked maschine sofware, so i think the files i just downloaded are not usable. Is this the case? or am i able to somehow extract the wav dumps from this installer? Any help would be much appreciated
