The classic synths in CIRCUIT HALO include the Roland Juno 60, Casio VL-Tone, Prophet 5, Yamaha DX7, Sequential Circuits Pro One and Six-Trak, and a Korg MS-20 – all meticulously multi-sampled with a warm low end and their own idiosyncrasies such as pitch drift. The combination of vintage sound with the latest in glitch modulation effects and production techniques makes this MASCHINE Expansion something truly unique.

SPECIAL KITS AND NEW PRESETS

Explore CIRCUIT HALO’s four Special Kits and find a trove of glitched-out, grainy sounds, noises and sweeps, sound effects, and percussion and stabs. All-new REAKTOR PRISM presets provide organic leads, pads, mallets, and flutes while MASSIVE presets deliver textured, morphing leads, basses, and stabs.

CUSTOM DRUM DESIGN

The drums in CIRCUIT HALO received some very special care and attention. The sounds come from a healthy mix of vintage and modern drum machines – many customized for a unique sound.

The creator of CIRCUIT HALO, Danish sound design expert Joël Krozer of 6 Bit Deep, took these sounds and applied boutique outboard gear such as a classic 80s British talkback compressor and 1/2" analog tape for tone shaping, warmth, and character. Plus lush reverb for added space and depth.

Thanks, I still haven't upgraded to Maschine 2.0, how difficult is the process?

Are all of the old packs now compatible? Also, will upgrading require rebuilding my tracks that used Maschine 1.0, or is it directly upgradable (using same .dll names etc) ?

It is very simple to upgrade (And quite cheap) and all your old projects will open with a click in V2 You can also import them to Maschine and it converts them to the new format and tags them. Also, a few days after you buy it, they send you £22 e voucher . So it is like paying £67 for Maschine 2. It is a bit weird after using 1.8 but you get used to it and workflow is faster and better in M2. Well worth it. The £22 can go towards buying expansions or other things at NI store :)

Will this work with a legit Maschine 2.0 software? or you need a cracked version of maschine to use cracked expansions?

I'm pretty certain it requires a serial number phoned home to activate in a legit Maschine, but perhaps I'm wrong?

it all installed okay , but i keep getting a message saying error loading kit .. any ideas how to fix this guys ? message is Loading Users/Shared/Third Eye Kit.mxgrp Failed .. i have all the other kits working perfect ..

would appreciate any help :)

Yes, it will not work with a legit Maschine 2. In fact , i bought M2 because those i tried simply did not work. Sound library would not install so i deleted it. This is the same. You need to activate it from Service centre - of course you can't , though. Wish the NFOs told me before i installed.

@Amigauser I've actually found that one can access individual samples fine from these packs using the legit version of Maschine 2.2, only the Groups, Projects, and Sounds functions are compromised. If anyone has a workaround for the Service Center, please entertain us
