I'm on Win 7 64 bit.. And I'm using the latest Maschine 2 R2R release. Doesn't work for me. Says it needs to be activated.

yeah you can't use the kits or sounds with a legit version of maschine. You can use the samples and the massive presets however.

A tip for Windows XP users or those who want just samples or to install this manually: since Native Instruments doesn't allow this to be installed on XP for corporate reasons [MS buy out? Same as Adobe], you can install it manually with the help of 7-Zip archiver. You have to mount the ISO first. Then open the "library part 2.pkg" [the biggest one] with 7-zip and extract the "payload" file [the biggest one] somewhere. Now extract the "payload" file with 7-zip again and you'll get "paload~" file. Extract this "paload~" file with 7-zip again and you'll get a "Grey Forge Library" folder that contains all the samples. That's it. :)

If you need Maschine patches just do the same with the "Grey Forge Library Part 1.pkg". How to make the patches work with the Maschine? I don't know, I use only WAV samples, so don't PM me about it because I can't help you. All I know is if you use cracked Maschine it should probably work with it without any authorisation.

Hey SineWave thats a real cool tip, cheers! I done as you suggested with the 7-zip extraction, it extracts the files, but the files in the project folder are not visible in the program as they have a .mxprj extension. I presume this is because there not activated properly. They need to be .mprj in order for Maschine to recognise the file format. You can still use the samples, if you wish, but not the projects.
