audiofarm is quite good, but they don't have the "Elite Suite Plugin Bundle" and the G.A.F Samples (5500 $ for: 10 kicks, 12 snares, 5 hihats and 18 Fxs)for example.

Anyone else tried installing this? - I generally mount ISO files onto a virtual drive but this one errors asking me to install from original disk.

amarok , you may need to redownload

I use Virtual CloneDrive from slysoft , freeware

alternate install

mount iso, or burn iso to disk, you now need

\Electric Vice Library Electric Vice.pkg\Contents\Archive.pax.gz

copy Archive.pax.gz to a folder then use winrar 4.11 to extract
you will get Archive.pax use extract here command

Archive.pax extract with 7-zip 9.20 use extract here commmand

this will give you Electric Vice Library folder

now you can import or copy the folder Electric Vice Library

to the maschine folder C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Native Instruments\Maschine

or wherever you have it set up

I think this is exactly the same as an install, maybe location is different

I have not used maschine very long so I do not know if something might be missing
If it has trouble finding it the first time you run it just direct it to the location
on you hard drive after that it should be ok

I do not own a Mac so I can be of no help their

Would this work in version 1.6.2 of Maschine, since that appears to be the last Mac version that can load expansions?

Also, as far as dokx1 said about just loading the samples into drum racks: I'm guessing the advantage of using Maschine must be some kind of easy tempo mapping or time stretching/pitch shifting of the melodic samples/phrases.

Am I right? Or could I just download this pack and drop those same phrases into Ableton, Warp them and do the same thing?

As you can tell, I've never really used Maschine before but thinking of giving it a go.

Any information would be useful. Thanks.
