There's no phase distortion like some IR loaders have.
Be careful with Room IRs as long samples are cut to 4k.

I thought room verbs were already short. So it's only good for cabs only?

I think most room IRs, even for relatively small ones, are over 300ms (15k samples, 4k = 85ms).
It's a trade-off with processing load when live tracking, but I think it's better to use other loaders when mixing. (When using a Room IR captured directly from a cab)

About the "plus" -although it wasn't stated as a stereo ir loader- is cpu friendly enough how to load it twice or more.

Pulsar 2, 3x loaded for route as stereo plus sub iRs, 12 iRs being tweaked just for fun & eq research. Take in count my old CPU & a Complex NAM capture from SlamminMofo (one of the greatest NAM's soundhunters).

If I read that correctly (not a regular Reaper user here), one instance of Pulsar 2 uses up to 10% of CPU. That's quite significant for just an IR / cabinet loader!

Without Pulse 2 loaded, at least in this project, in my pc, the CPU usage reaches 36%, so I can't make an absolute statement about this.


Edit; I've forgot to say that most of COMPLEX NAM captures demands usually more that a 30% of my CPU, ...a very inappropriate CPU, actually...

I read the comments above about stereo and Resington shows at the end of his video (at 11:12) that there is a stereo mode for the plugin. (I assume that stereo IR loading works in that.)
