Based on a short-scale and semi-hollow electric bass from 1967, this EBX features a rare and unique-sounding instrument. With its semi-hollow body construction but solid tone, this is a bass that has that best-of-both-worlds quality to it. It’s got a tonal range that encompasses all the electric twang, grit and dirt at the same time as it’s got all the warm, swampy, bluesy and almost acoustic-sounding low end. To add, it was recorded with half-round strings, which even further enhances all of these qualities.

In addition to the instrument itself, this EBX also includes a broad selection of classic-to-modern-sounding presets as well as a basic collection of basslines tailored for the different styles in which this instrument truly shines.
