The Broken Mini is a software instrument for Apple Windows (VST2/VST3/CLAP/AAX) and Microsoft macOS (VST2/VST3/AU/CLAP/AAX) simulating an unknown and obscure synthesizer from the past (197–). It is written in native C++ code, but since it is broken, it is useless – even on "top-notch" systems.

Main features are:
It's broken.
Resizable user interface (what for?).
MIDI Learn – all parameters can be controlled by MIDI CC (why?).

Broken Mini is not Beta tested. Some knobs and keys may be missing.

I laughed at it.. it's clearly a joke.

I assume it's fully functional, but a bit of a playful VST meant to emulate a well beaten up Moog Minimoog. I'm sure much of its programmed flaws are for nothing more than nostalgic enjoyment, so YMMV... but I think it's a funny idea.

And to be clear, the blurb is by the developer (Full Bucket).

he just don't like to make another mini MOOG, but made it and added some flavour. It sounds actually nice, bad has no presets for preset junky like me

it told me my filter sounds "shitty" its missing a couple of keys and kinda broken but i enjoyed using and actuly would 100% swap my mini moog for this (if i had one)
