i almost didn't install it, and only loaded it in a project because i didn't remember what it was supposed to be. very pleasantly surprised. it's very precise, has got some musical curves - especially at wider qs, at narrow qs maybe the tip of the bell should be slightly wider, but that's a common problem among eqs - and sounds incredibly clean. doesn't smear almost at all, which is very rare. if clean is what you're after, highly recommend it.

some good workflow features, too, including solo, mute, and mouse wheel adjustments. i personally like all the band knobs to be available side by side, and don't like the "modern" trend where you need extra clicks to select a band to adjust it, but i like the scroll option.

doesn't have mastering options like dynamic bands, dual mono, or mid to side, but, personally, i never use those.

surprisingly, it's a keeper.
