JS Inflator is a copy of Sonox Inflator.

Runs in double precision 64-bit internal processing. Also double precision input / output if supported.

Comes in two GUIs. The alternative GUI is made by Twarch.

Sonnox offered me a great discount on the real inflator...

so yesterday did run some test on a few session to replace all my VST 3 from Js INflator...

I must say it was feeling good before I bought the real inflator...

But now... I will never go back... the real inflator has really better smoothing control and screws less with the bottom end without affecting the bristles needed in the highs most espcially the AIR ones

This thing almost null with the old 32 bit Inflator I found here. In "normal" mode (no split), wathever are the settings and the material passing through, it shows -132 dbfs. I didn't test split mode for now.

It nulls quite low (but not totally, I don't have the project right now to give you precise info) in split mode with the original 32bit inflator released here, if the user runs a 96khz session, uses x2 oversampling with linear phase filters.
So the band split got properly done.

It can´t sound the same until it has a blue UI ;-)

Today we know the Inflator uses a very simple Algorithm, but i also have that magical expensive Pro-Tools Plugin in my mind which sounds like no other ... but that´s not real ;-)
