Blocks is a virtual modular synthesizer instrument that is designed to be both fun and simple.
blocks is a modular synthesizer available as standalone, VST3 & AU for Windows, macOS.

Housed in a GUI that comes with light and dark themes, Blocks features a grid in which you can add oscillators (triangle, square, sine and saw) and noise, multi-mode filters, drive (soft and hard clip, linear and sine fold, bitcrush, and downsample), flanger, reverb, delay, chorus and phaser modules.

You can modulate the various parameters of the blocks with LFO and ADSR modules. A selection of presets is included to get you started.

this is definitely no cardinal vcv, but for beginners in modular virtual patching, this is still quite fun and useful
make music, not walls.

This thing is all sorts of janky inside Studio One, as well as Gig Performer, with it disallowing you to add certain combination of effects sometimes (no dedicated pattern except that it's often the fourth or fifth effect in a horizontal line, and most of the time it's when there's multiple of the same effect.) And this is pre-modulation or anything intricate routed up. On top of that, it has a habit of randomly locking up or crashing an entire session when you really start building, which isn't due to a lack of PC resources. Other than that, I actually dig this thing.
