i have 2 vintage plate devices in my studio and i have to say that this plugin sounds quite good and authentic.

in comparison, my old devices sounds denser and softer

Didn't Baby Audio purchase Denise Audio with the plan of redesigning their entire catalogue? Has any of that happened yet?

Don't know about re-designing in terms of UI, but they have bought Denise and did change the licensing system and some other stuff like a year or two ago.

IIRC, it's the same lead DSP designer who's made most of the plugins both for Baby Audio and Denise anyways (unless I'm confusing them with some other company?), so I guess that's why they even got the idea. His name is JD Young, but it unfortunately seems like a lot of the info about him has just disappeared from the web. I remember that he wrote a book long ago about DSP and then created the company Noiz-Lab where he released some free and some paid plugins that all were part of the book. He later joined or started the company audiodev.io which released some documentation on how to design plugins.
