"Insert Omnisphere then click ok", cancel through and it says it cant find the installationattributes file thats just above it. C:\users\xxx\downloads\omnisphere soundsource library update 2 6 2c\omnisphere_soundsource_library_update_2_6_2c\Windows\..\STEAM\ does not exist error when going to install.

Edit: same error on the patch library update

Issue was that I forgot I moved my steam folder to another drive and set a symlink folder to where it usually is.

On mac. the installtionattributes must be hidden. WHich means change name from "installationattributes" to ".installtionattributes".

As far as i know this should also work in Windows...

I have not tested this yet
My advice would be not to use the installer
Instead only copy & overwrite the files manually
I remember I always did all of my Spectra updates like this I never used the installers just copy & overwrite stuff inside the steam folder

It would be good to always know beforehand whether you are on Windows or Mac.
…if requires update 2.8.6c then it will "perhaps" not be taken into account although visible.
As it is not the software, the simplest thing is to manually put the folders, replacing them with those of the same name.

This update killed my omnisphere setup non of the sounds work anymore.... M2 logic sonoma mac osx here

when ever i select a sound its giving error loading waveform error
