NeuralNote is the audio plugin that brings state-of-the-art Audio to MIDI conversion into your favorite Digital Audio Workstation.

Works with any tonal instrument (voice included)
Supports polyphonic transcription
Supports pitch bends
Lightweight and very fast transcription
Can scale and time quantize transcribed MIDI directly in the plugin

NeuralNote comes as a simple AudioFX plugin (VST3/AU/Standalone app) to be applied on the track to transcribe.

The workflow is very simple:

Gather some audio
Click record. Works when recording for real or when playing the track in a DAW.
Or drop an audio file on the plugin. (.wav, .aiff and .flac supported)
The midi transcription instantly appears in the piano roll section. Play with the different settings to adjust it.
Export the MIDI transcription with a simple drag and drop from the plugin to a MIDI track.

Currently, only the raw .vst3, .component (Audio Unit), .app and .exe (Standalone) files are provided. Installers will be created soon. In the meantime, you can manually copy the plugin/app file in the appropriate directory. The code is signed on macOS, but not on Windows, so you might have to perform few extra steps in order to be able to use NeuralNote on Windows (to be documented soon).

Runs great on Sonoma 14.1/Logic 10.7.9 (Apple Silicon M1/M1 Pro): very useful though it doesn't work in realtime – thank you LDVN!

I have the same issue here with the Time Quantize button. Same problem in Mac and Windows, even when using the files direct from the developer.

Thanks for the ease of the tool, "Drag The MIDI File From Here".

Great for simple solos, guitar, trombone or sax without much bending.

The problem is that when the mix notes occur, they end up producing other frequencies of the harmonic series that are captured, when we look at the final MIDI, we realize that such notes are not even perceived by the ear.

But, polyphony will still take a few years, as artificial intelligence has to be programmed to the extreme, overcoming all mathematical possibilities, associated with programming and logic. therefore, these programs will never work for decent polyphonic extraction. It's simple, behind the music there is logic, not just this "poor game of capturing frequencies on a timeline", that will never work.

For example: If one program the computer to recognize musical events up to baroque counterpoint, the computer will be capable of naming each event that happens:
_ 'Locked Hands' used by jazz pianists, if any harmonic frequency appears outside of that logic, where the chord can only have just 3 notes between two octave notes, such notes must be eliminated just like in a game.
