yes, on my PC, as a clean install, the plugin/demo v 2.8 seems to crash FL studio, and Reaper on win 11. So there wasn't even a way to get it regged.

My solution was, remove it, and install the 2.7 R2R version. Then 2.8 "over" it.
No crashes then...but maybe @Albert2022 trick also would work.

For me the opposite worked, I had v2.7.0 installed, when I installed v2.8.0 over it
it crashed in FL Studio. It worked after uninstalling v2.7.0 and installing v2.8.0 on its own.

No issues here moving from 2.7 to 2.8 in Ableton/Reason.
Used the registration from the previous version.
Not seeing any real changes though, like most updates it caters to M1's

Well Plugin Boutique are asshats anyway, placing the VST3 files in the ROOT of the VST3 directory (sans vendor folder), and for NOT reading from registry where VST2 files should be placed by default, and instead defaulting to the old f*cking Steinberg folder, of all places.

These guys are geniuses, but also f*cking retards.
I envision them hacking into the NSA on a Gameboy for fun, as they walk down the hall with their pants on backwards and a cancellation notice from their utility company stuffed into their pocket .. along with their last 3 paychecks...

VST3 doesnt work in Studio One 6 ( Only VST2.
But 2.7 works fine

If you already have a previous version of this with the R2R licence applied you can just download and install this or alternatively get the trail version from Plugin Boutique and install it over the top. The licence is still good - you don't have to reapply it.

Had the same issue when I installed legit yesterday after testing the AZ 2.6 and 2.7 versions . The previous installers indeed installed the files in a different location.

So always uninstall the previous version to get the best result and to continue your happy testing fase to the fullest scale.

Mine worked when I uninstalled 2.7 decided to not install 2.8 and just use the skills I got. Worked Wonders mate.
