Wolf Shaper is a waveshaper plugin with a graph editor. It lets you create your own waveshaping functions using a spline-based graph editor.

Customizable graph – Design your own distortion functions using 4 different curve types.
Warp modes – Use warping algorithms to alter the graph dynamically.
Uni/Bi modes – Switch between symmetrical and asymmetrical distortion.
Up to 16x oversampling – Get rid of aliasing artifacts for a cleaner sound.

Wolf Shaper allows users to create custom waveshaping functions using 4 different curve types in a spline-based graph editor.

Warping algorithms are available to alter the graph dynamically. Uni/Bi modes let you switch between symmetrical and asymmetrical distortion, and the plugin comes with up to 16x oversampling to remove aliasing artifacts for a cleaner sound.

How to use

Parameters and controls
Pre – Controls the input volume, before any processing has taken place.
Wet – Determines the mix between the original and the processed signal in the output. Set this parameter at maximum value to only hear the processed signal.
Post – Controls the output volume, after all processing has been done.
Center – Removes DC offset from the output. This ensures that the resulting waveform is vertically centered at zero.
Oversample – Sets the multiple of the sample rate at which the processing will be done. This allows the plugin to filter out some harmonics that would otherwise cause aliasing artifacts.
Uni/Bi switch – Allows switching between symmetrical and asymmetrical waveshaping.
Warp knobs - The two yellow knobs in the middle of the UI allow to bend the distortion curve dynamically. These knobs can be automated by the plugin host for interesting effects.
Reset button – Puts the graph back at its default state, which is a straight diagonal line.

Graph editing
Add a vertex – Right-click in the graph to add a vertex. Keep holding the right mouse button to position the vertex.
Move a vertex – Left-click and drag the vertex.
Remove a vertex – Double left-click on the vertex.
Tweak the tension of an edge – Left-click and drag vertically the tension handle located at the center of the edge.
Change the curve type - Right-click on a vertex, then select the curve type in the context menu.

User interface
Resize the window – Left-click and drag the resize handle located at the bottom-right to resize the window.

This curve graph-based modding is more recommended to graphics people and 3D modelers. We are those, who like all kinds of curves and their modifiers / squeezers you see here. Also this type of audio modding, IMO will be the future. Only this curve needs to evolve from the usual 2D-chess mode into 3D = multi storey chessboard mode, where you can also make cross-level moves. Then add time dimension, go back or forward in time or freeze time, while manipulating this sound generator setup. This needs to be node-based - so we can connect dozens of special sound-distortion modules to each other using several inputs and outputs to each. Much like how you design visual effects.
And the control must be a 3D nature: like when the pilots give gas to the F-16 in movies, but that heavy gas control throttle now can also be raised and pushed in and also moved like a joystick in full 3D dimensions = push / pull in any direction changing all the dozens of connected, patched sound-distortion / generator / synth modules connected to each other. All controlled by 1-4 of these 3D joystick-throttles. Then maybe a haptic sensor on your torso freezes / slows down time as you lean forward = freeze vs. as you lean back the sound gets more accelerated and pushed forward "into the future", from where reverberations can come BACKWARDS affecting your music / effects generated in the present.

Essentially a 3D 4D full motion control sound generator with 256-4096 oscillators on THz CPU, so it doesn't slow down. You tap the bass with your feet. Maybe with a Spatial Control Helmet, where you move your head it also displaces the sound in a room with different Resonating Wall Reverb types.

Full orchestral Emulation, re-generation re-synthesis based on as many recorded samples as you can feed to this beast, then the computer simply generates its own classic string/wind etc instruments.

Of course sound sources can be fully edited with all currently available WAV manipulation software functions. I'm telling you, this kind of audio modification is the future!
