Kazrog True 252 v. 1.0.1 Win / Mac screenshot
AudioZ Exclusive | VST3 / VST2 / AAX / AU | 279 MB
Following in the line of vintage analog emulations from Kazrog and Powers Music Group, such as True Iron and True Dynamics (both of which received NAMM TEC Award nominations), True 252 is an emulation of the highly sought after Langevin EQ 252A Graphic Equalizer.

In building this emulation, copious measurements were made of the original hardware in the Powers collection, and every effort has been made to accurately represent it in the digital domain - including the extremely musical EQ curves that inspired the original Motown-style EQ circuit, and gentle natural saturation of the original unit.

This equalizer is incredibly intuitive, and brings life to masters, buses, and individual tracks in a way that feels effortless and immediate.

Features

Highly accurate emulation of the Langevin 252-A Graphic Equalizer
Gain compensation - maintains the same apparent loudness irrespective of the EQ slider settings.
Continuous gain control - not stepped as with competing plugin emulations of similar EQs.
"Cramping-free" equalization. (More info about EQ cramping, and why it's bad, in this video from Dan Worrall.)
Standard Kazrog preset manager with A/B compare.
Compensated internal bypass.
Separate oversampling settings for realtime and offline processing, adjustable on the fly.
Two UI themes - black and gray - based on the faceplates of the original 252-A and its cosmetic variation, the 270.

Unfortunately there is a bug with this version:

When the oversampling is changed and the project is saved, it reverts back to the default oversampling (even if you save it) - an update hotfix is coming very soon

are you on mac or windows because that makes a difference. i tested in PT changed the oversampling to 8x saved the session and reopened and it was still at 8x oversampling and im on OS X

On Mac (in Logic pro - I don't know about PT): open another plugin in the same project and set the oversampling to a different value: one to 8x for example and another track to 4x.

Close and open the project: now both are set to the latest saved oversampling so one of the tracks has a changed oversampling than you originally intended. Try it with another plugin (e.g. lindell 50) - 2 tracks with different oversampling stay at a different oversampling each.

You are correct.. they already told us that.. they are going to fix it this week.
Don't believe 'em when they try to say it's over!

sooooo sweet sounding, so smooth. Love it.
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

It was not so clear in the video: snake oil or whale fat?
Sound it really good or it's useless?
