Zero-G Enigma is a revolutionary 6-voice sound creation instrument for Mac OSX and WIndows PC that is designed to create lush ambient pads, drones, and cinematic textures. It is an instrument of extraordinary power and originality.


Enigma comes equipped 7GB of compressed 24bit wav files and over 250 presets ranging from atmospheres, pads, textures, and drones to basses and leads to SFX, noises, hits, and stabs. Enigma has been designed to meet the needs of professional film, video, and game score composers as well as many genres of music production.

At the heart of Enigma is the XY pad. The four corners of the XY pad represent the four main voices of the currently loaded patch. You can move the cursor to any position inside the yellow cube to create movement between these four voices, from the super-subtle to the ultra-extreme. You can also you record your own cursor movement pattern to create amazingly complex and evolving sounds.

There is also a randomise function that will randomise all the sounds in the patch to give you a brand-new patch which you can then edit to your liking. This function is great for giving you inspiration and for creating your own unique sounds.

The Enigma Editor Window gives you a whole host of functions to enable you to adapt a sound to your liking. This allows you to modulate and experiment with sound design to your heart’s content! In the Editor Window you will find 2 Filters and their respective LFOs; a Matrix system that lets you route filters and modulation to each sound; amp & filter envelopes to control the sound input; a dedicated sub-bass option; a dedicated sample playback option & tremolo/vibrato & unison controls.

Enigma also comes with a complete FX Section which includes 20 convolution reverbs. FX included are Convolution Reverb, Delay, Phaser, Reverb, Compressor, EQ, Chorus and Wave Shaper.

hello to anyone that could read this, I'm confused, when the plugin opens wich button do you have to press first to locate the samples, because both options say the same, so if anyone could assist and write step by step how to properly install samples because I get a error every time it loads thanks.

Thanks, but tried the VST3 plugin as suggested within a ZeroG folder, both in my system VST3 location and a custom folder for use with Ableton Live 11 but Live won't seem to see it either way??? All my other VST3 plugins are there and show up fine?

I'm on a Windows 10 Pro PC: Version 21H2 OS Build: 19044.2130

I didnt install this but you can use VST/VST3 plugins with VST wrappers like DDMF MetaPlugin.

If anyone cant find this VST3 Instrument in their DAW -
Its in a folder called
'The Synth Factory'
NOT 'ZeroG'
I use Cubase Pro 12 and it comes up as 'The Synth Factory' In them, which is Ok, as long as I remember where it is in the future

I take it that's using a Mac? On a PC you have to place the VST3 according to the instructions, creating the recommended ZeroG folder in the process.

and that works for you?
As in Cubase Pro 12, for VST3 the 'name' of the folder you create doesnt make a difference, it will call the folder what it thinks it should be, in this case, 'The Synth Factory' (I assume that who made the plugin for ZeroG's sounds.

logic 10.7.4 , cubase pro 12, live 11 - all work almost fine (Big sur Intel) Thanks for the release. Got a few crashes when browsing the presets - could be some permission issues - not sure.

The plugin works but it asks for the sound library every time it boots up. It doesn't load sounds even though I show its location correctly.

that's because you don't follow the instruction. You should install sample library first not just point to the folder.

Yes there is. I'm talking about the sample library installer which is available when you open the plugin in you DAW for the first time . You should see two buttons. Follow the instruction.

So, we choose the first one, browse to HR Folder
but, it keeps re-appearing everytime we open the Stanadlone or VSE plugin

You are right! IF you follow the instruction 100% it will work. At first I didn't create the "ZeroG" folder in common files and it didn't work. Every step of the instruction is imortant. Don't be "smart" and think you can skip something.

The Standalone works great here. The AU causes me to raise the latency on my audio card. Otherwise it pops my processor. Guessing that their AU plug isn't optimized very well.
