Reading your post maybe you'd be interested in a freeware software called Note Attack for windows. "Note Attack helps you to learn to read music by blasting notes into submission as part of an addictive game. You can use your computer keyboard or your MIDI-compatible piano or keyboard to control the game." It's freeware and it has been around for years. Check it out. There is another app very similar that also teaches the name of the notes called Note Teacher for android. You can find it by searching for "Note Teacher mod apk 1.2.12". Sometimes you'll come across a new version in your search, but I've never been able to get it to work so stick with the 1.2.12 version. Hope this info is usefull. Good luck.
