totally, yeah i recall using it and it and because of my soundcard (soundblaster pro) there was too much latency but.. It gave me an idea of things to come, here we are 20 odd years later Tonex is finally the fully envisioned version of this dream.

Yeaaah! Revalver, the direct ancestor of Amplitube, G. Rig, TH-U...

DX only, of course... If I'm not wrong, Reaper is the only DAW to still accept DX plugs, I wonder if it would recognize this...

Thanks a LOT, @mnk, you rock!

Cakewalk accept DirectX too.
Maybe you can try dxshell vst (dx wrapper) if your DAW not support DX (and together with jBridge too if your DAW not support 32bit plugin).

True! I still use the Sonitus FX (particularly the reverb) from time to time on Reaper. I installed Cakewalk Sonar from an old install to unlock them first then deleted it. Haha. Ancient but still has a certain something to it for just a throw on go-to reverb before I have anything particular in mind.

Image-Line took the reverb and wrapped it in their Reverb plugin.
