They are definitely good, but I wouldn't say that they are among the best of the best. However, they don't have to be "the best thing ever", they just need to get the job done (and they do, IMO).

The sound you get for the tiny amount of CPU usage makes them worth having :)

All Overloud effects seem awful large in size? I'll cast to all audio friends here, are these plugins worth downloading? How do they compare to other LA2A, 3A, Fairchilds and so on of other companies? Thanks

Do you even use all plugin versions anyway ?
There is a Customize button upon install with the macOS installer.
I would only use 25 MB, maybe 50 MB of all that 100+ MB.
Every release also has one box_main.bin file that is usually between 50 MB and 100 MB after the plugin is used. I don't know if it gets bigger after usage, but the .bin for this one is only 460 KB ! haha.

For 3a it's the closest to real urei, 2a it's very close ( all hardware sound different but still close)
You can find a video on YouTube compare overloud to an hardware and to others sound no talk video. To many brand are joke

1176 close to hardware like the arturia, get the release curve evolution more you compress, ......

670 don't know but if la2a 3 a 1176 are very close to hardware why not 670.
Comp g there is different original version, but the auto gain work well not like cytomic who is bad, and NI where 10ms is 30ms 1 ms is 3 ms, 3 ms is 10ms attack time

Only drawback to overloud it's analog emulation and add real noise where lot get very low noise prove there aren't well emulations. So don't abuse of overloud for don't bring to much noise if you use hundred of it.

Very low cpu, just take few mo on SSD but not like an acoustica

Like the reverb overloud do only quality, worth to buy it if you use it a lot

I block overloud url . make the serial file with the serial maker, copy it to Library/Application Support/Overloud/GEMS . but when i open plug in in Ableton it asked for Registration ?? What i make wrong ? Mac adress is to long ??

The two possible problems with matey above are :
1. It sounds like he may not have located his Machine ID, and
2. The path he mentioned is definitely the wrong one, it should be the hidden ~ user library where the GEMS folder for the licenses is.
If he put it in the normal Library folder path he mentioned then it won't work.
Hold down alt whilst clicking on Go in the Finder bar and find the hidden user Library folder.

If you take your finger off alt, then Library will vanish.

Regarding R2R's nomenclature, I believe it should have said MAC ID i.e. Machine ID.
"MAC-Address" is probably confusing for people new to either platform, but especially macOS. Yet maybe it's just me, and the two are used synonymously ?
Maybe the term is different on newer operating systems that I am not on.

ok so, I located the folder, pasted the created license but when I start the plugin it Simply delete the license and ask me to activate the plugin

hope anyone has a solution for this
