To new users of macOS, re. where to put your licences for Overloud TH-U & GEMS:
The wavey line in
~/Library/Application Support
means User.
IE. the hidden User Library, which you get to by holding down alt and clicking on Go in the Finder bar. Keep holding alt, click on Library.
The Clavichord is from the Late Middle Ages. It's not a Clavinet.

It will be created after you have installed.
And if ever you need to with any installations, you can always create the folder in the path stated.

doesnt work for me on big sur. while the keygen exports to desktop it never shows .ol2 file on desktop using crossover also when used keygen on windows

That's because crossover doesn't know to put it on your actual desktop. It puts the generated ol2 file to a virtual desktop inside crossover. So head to users/your username/library/application support/crossover/bottles/ and then there is a folder with the name of the bottle you used /drive_c/users/crossover/desktop. And there the file is... Happy hunting.

on crossover you have to leave it open and go to the window menu, select Main Window and you should see an entry for the keygen install. Right click on that and choose Open C drive.
From there I choose Users>Crossover>Desktop and there it is - just copy and paste.

Posted this on the library thread also. re: installed preset libraries not being remembered on restart.

Some of the riglibraries contained in the .riglib file are missnamed and this for whatever reason causes THU not to save the presets. I've renamed mine and all is now good.

You can open the .riglib file with winrar or 7zip.

The problem ones are CHP Brit LS, CHP Brit J71. Try to select some of the presets, they wont load....
They should be CHP Brit SL5 and CHP Brit JMP71. Compare against the previous v1.4.5 release which have them correct.
Can't remember if there are any others. Basically I've upzipped both .riglibs copied all the correct files to %appdata%\Roaming\Overloud\TH-U Slate\Rig Models. Started THU and dragged all the .ovb files to the banks menu.
Once all the presets are referencing the right files all works fine.

Can only confirm on windows.
I assume the same files are used. The .riglib does contain a "_MACOSX" folder, but don't know what it affects.

I've put the .ol2 file in the right location and blocked overloud.com but I still only get the 10 Min Demo mode...

You have to remove the two dots between the number or letter pairs.

Lastly... the file .ol2 go inside the TH-U folder here:
> User/Library/Application support/Overload/Th-U

(IMP: the TH-U folder must be the one inside the User not the one in HD)

The only OVERLOUD folder is in Library/Application Support under Macintosh HD. Under user, there is no library folder to begin with. Do i create one there?

this is happening to me too,i put the .ol2 in the right location but when i run the TH-U app im getting the demo and i checked the User/Library/Application support/Overload/Th-U and the .ol2 just disappear

i dont know why Gas Mask app wasnt blocking the overload website,now im blocked with little snitch and TH-U is working perfect,i only see that the BM+Bogna+EC pack is not in this TH-U release

BM Bogna EC is not in the overloud content

i have the BM Bogna EC Classic but is not working on the Overloud 1.49
tha pack was working fine on the Overloud 1.47

Well I got BM Bogna EC Classic for a test but it does not work on this Overloud TH-U 1.4.9 (it ask for license). Too bad...
If anyone has a mail/serial or a shortcut it is very appreciated...
