Doesn't need to. It's not the dll. Only patches and soundsources are updated here. There's no new software (.dll) update, 1.3.0f is current version.

I can't install these updates (Windows 8.1), I get the following error when I have navigated to my STEAM folder:

"An error occurred while trying to read the source file:
The source file
"D:\Keyscape_Soundsource_Library_Update_1_0_4d\Windows\..\STEAM\*" does not exist.
Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation."

I put the update file in
D:\Keyscape_Soundsource_Library_Update_1_0_4d\
Within that folder are
\Data
\Mac
\Windows

The \Windows folder only contains 'Keyscape Data Updater.exe', which is 356kB.

Has anybody else had this problem?

I was going to copy it over, but the files are much smaller in the DATA folder than in my existing Keyscape installed DATA folder, so I was afraid to just copy them across.

Hi, I'm sorry but I don't understand what I am supposed to do - I don't set the source file that the installer is looking for. Part of the error message is "The source file

You shoul to put the folder than STEAM folder is contained, not the STEAM folder...

IE: if you got your STEAM folder in D:\anydirectory\Spectrasonics\STEAM

Then put D:\anydirectory\Spectrasonics\

Many times i had to copy content to steam folder as the installer didnt work
So i open the data folder and copy the content to the steam folder

I get this message when trying to install ;
Insert Spectrasonics Keyscape A then click OK. Press cancel to terminate the entire installation process.

Tried to run installation files in the STEAM folder but the same happens.

EDIT SOLVED :
Had to rename "InstallationAttributes.dat" and add a dot at the beginning ".InstallationAttributes.dat" loll surprised no one reported this issue.

Whoever says that this works for macOS Monterey is a liar. I keep getting an error that the ".component" plug-in is keeping Keyscape from opening. Plug-ins that support Monterey need to be released. That has not happened yet.

I can take a video of it working in Monterey on M1 Pro... But I am having a small issue where the sound cuts out during midi editing and then I need to re load, I think it's a Logic problem though because it has been a little glitchy in 10.7
