SDRR was built to satisfy almost all of your saturation desires. It provides a comprehensive set of controls to manipulate the character of the saturation to make it fit exactly. SDRR offers four different main modes: TUBE, DIGI, FUZZ, DESK and reacts dynamically to the input signal. Each mode has its unique crosstalk behavior, which can be switched off or exaggerated.

A unique RMS level difference metering mode makes level matching an easy task. SDRR can be different things: a saturation, a compressor, an EQ, a bit-crusher, a subtle stereo widener, or simply add some movement to your tracks with the DRIFT control. Add warmth, depth and character to your tracks with SDRR. Don't forget to check out the free IVGI, which can be seen as the little brother of SDRR. It is based on the DESK mode in SDRR. Since IVGI is comparable to SDRR quality-wise, CPU-consumption wise and regarding aliasing (or better the absence of aliasing artifacts), it's a good way to also get an impression of how SDRR would perform on your system. The Klanghelm stuff is so good and affordable! Why warez them? The dude is even so generous to share very capable free lite versions of the pay ones and even these free versions are superior to many much more expensive commercial plugins from big brand names!

Nobody's forcing you to download it. Everyone wants to play policeman when it comes to other people's behaviour. We all make our own decisions as to what we think is appropriate and what isn't, but if you want to bitch about the ethical decisons other people make, hanging out on a warez site while you do it really isn't a good look.

I have! I own legit DC8C licence. I'm trying to keep my plugin collection slim, otherwise I would have also bought the Mjuc in an instant, which is very good (but I have NI Supercharger and Nomad Factory Bus Driver, which while only 80% as good as Mjuc, cover quite similar sonic territory).

Affordable, you say. Well yes, but 50 euros was my monthly wage (third world is such a third world).
I say *was*, because for now I'm unemployed, have to move in with my parents and care for my grandma who can't walk.
I basically have two options:
1) warez and freebies
2) give up music production for the time being
Guess what I'm gonna choose.
Tho Klanghelm are unquestionably on a good side of business. Good affordable DRM-free stuff. Other than not having money, there's no reason to not buy their stuff if you use it.

I'm not making a judgement. If you cannot afford it, go for it, even though I'm quite convinced that the variety of available freeware alone would perfectly fullfil your needs (I'm using 90% freeware myself).

With tools such as the FirComp, the Tokyo Dawn free range, Klanghelm freebies, Soundtoys + Arturia temporary freebies, Voxengo freebies, Orilriver + Dragonfly Reverbs, Ikjb Qrange (which performs better sonically and CPU-wise than the Maat Digital original) ... there is really not much need for any k'd software imho...

It is very egocentric and narrow-minded to assume that everyone around the globe is on the same pay salary and can afford to spend the same amount of money as ourselves, for a hobby.

Even if it's pretty versatile, I find it too complicated to adjust, too heavy on the CPU and especially the Tube is heavily twisting the freq curve.
