Restoration Suite 2 — a Giant Leap in Audio Quality
Restoration Suite 2 is a suite of four cutting edge plug-in for audio restoration and noise reduction...

DeNoise 2 is a plug-in designed to reduce noise such as hiss, wind noise, buzz and camera noise. The noise can be reduced automatically in the adaptive mode or after measuring the characteristics of the noise in the noise profile mode. New in version 2 are dynamic noise profiles that capture the dynamic properties of the noise so that noise that fluctuates over time, such as wind noise, can be effectively reduced. The new algorithm has also been greatly improved and is now even less prone to typical de-noising artifacts.
DeHum 2 targets hum and buzz typically introduced by poorly grounded electrical equipment, but also other tonal noise sources like electrical motor noise. The hum detection algorithm has been improved in version 2 and there’s now a new Scan button that automatically fine tunes the fundamental hum frequency.
DeClick 2 is designed to remove impulsive noise such as clicks, crackle and thumps. These distortions are frequently encountered on LP and 78 RPM records, but also occur in digital recordings due to drop-outs or distorted data packets. DeClick 2’s thump reduction works also effectively on vocal recordings with unwanted plosives. The algorithm has been improved in version 2 and is now less prone to reducing attacks and transients in the wanted signal.
DeClip 2 restores audio recordings distorted by analog or digital clipping with an improved algorithm.

New in Version 2
All four plug-ins have received major improvements both in the processing algorithms and the user interface compared to version 1. DeNoise 2 introduces the novel dynamic noise profiles that help reducing noise that varies randomly over time, such as wind noise or rustle from lavalier microphones. Where the earlier versions merely captured a static noise print with time-constant noise levels, the dynamic noise profiles capture statistics from the noise to be reduced. The noise suppression algorithm then estimates the most suitable noise threshold curve for the noisy input signal using the measured statistics.

DeNoise 2, DeClick 2 and DeHum 2 now support Mid/Side (M/S) processing, which can reduce unwanted fluctuations in the stereo image. The core algorithm in DeClick 2 received major improvements and now better preserves transients and can be pushed to higher click and crackle sensitivities without introducing artifacts.

DeHum 2 has a new automatic fine-tune button that triggers automatic estimation of the hum noise frequency. The hum tracking and suppression have also been improved. DeClip 2 was improved in terms of audio quality and now offers even more impressive reconstruction of clipped signal peaks. All the plug-ins in the suite now support surround and immersive audio formats up to 7.1.6 channels.

Acon Digital Restoration Suite 2 is available as VST, VST3 or AAX for both Windows and Mac or as AU plug-ins for Mac. There are 32 and 64 bit versions for Windows and the Mac version is 64 bit.st the maximum gain and the filter length of the frequency response of the noise shaping filter is visualized graphically.

There's also iZoTope RX, but if you're looking for possible alternatives, this could be a good one.
If it's stupid but it works, then it's not stupid.

Among standalone apps there is also the very powerful Magix Audio CLeaning Lab. Diamond Cut Audio Restoration Tools have some unique features too.
In older days, very prominent was the Algorithmix Sound Laundry, meant mostly for vinyl restoration. Audio Restoration ClickRepair (consisting of three separate standalone tools) belongs to the same group, and is of outstanding quality,

I still miss the discontinued 'StudioRebirth' plugin which adds synthesized high frequency harmonics controlled by an envelope, a part of their legacy 'Studio Clean Pack'.

Hey FinalMaster. I loved that plugin also. But they are released it with new name and new look. Now called vitalizer. If you instal Acoustica 7.2 and later you will get vitalizer inside Acoustica DAW, but also as seperate VST plugin, so you can use it oudside Acoustica. Now it has more options, and i would say that sound's more natural than SudioRebirth, but seems that algo is same, maybe i have placebo.

But you also can make StudioRebirth work again with jBridge. Also you can use alternatives,
TB Evoke v3 by ToneBoosters does the same, Exciter is basicly harmonic sintesizer.
Also Thimeo StereoTool has module called Absolute Highs which basicly do same.

I hope i helped you :)

Thanks,
I took the vitalizer.dll out of the setup exe with InnoExtractor and regged it with R2R keygen. It has the same old very usable envelope control. The synth is sonically improved compared to the old version, but the default setting is set too high in my opinion [+6.3 dB gain] - at least with decent working material - and 'Vitalize level' should be set at about -10.5 (?!) to reach a +2.5 dB reasonable gain starting position.
Also creates a slight clockwise slant of the EQ curve.

You are welcome :) I agree about default setting is to high for normal material. I usually use it on side channel.

I compared ACON Vitalizer to Wavesfactory Spectre 1.5.0 [with oversampling on and no saturation /'clean' mode/].
Vitalizer showed better definition, better transient preservation, and more even spectrum spread.
Both showed a slight dynamic expansion, but more so with Spectre.
VItalizer is a high quality product, that's for sure.

Has anyone gotten a virus trigger for the keygen? I have Malwarebytes and Norton and they detected generic possible viruses (usually false positives), but then Norton later identified it as ransomware.wannacry... anyone get this?

I love the Acon plugins but i have a problem with all Restoration Suite 2 Versions:
I am using these as AU-Plugins on MacOs (Mojave). The Problem occures with different plugin-hosts (i am using Logic Pro X, but have tried other AU-Hosts as well):
The generated serial does not stick. At first the serial is accepted by all 4 included plugins and the serialized plugin opens. But when i unload the plugin and load it again it goes back to demo mode and asks for the serial again. This happenes with all RS2 Releases i tried (2.0.4, 2.0.5 and now 2.0.9). This was not the case with the old Restoration Suite 1 from R2R. I still use Restoration Suite 1.8.0 and the serialization of these plugins stays stable. Is anyone here, who has an idea or sufferes the same problem? I noticed that the serial at the old RS1 is stored in a .prop file in the Acon folder in "Library/Application Support". But i can't find a similar file for the RS2 Release...
