Studio Cymbals V2 – China is the industries largest and most detailed collection of cymbal hits in one sample pack. It is a highly detailed and intuitive collection of 192 cymbal hits built into a VST instrument, Kontakt sampler and wav sample pack. Each of the cymbals have been recorded using a wooden drum stick, plastic tip drum stick, wooden mallet and nylon mallet.

PROFESSIONAL RECORDING

Each cymbal has been recorded at the Audio Animals studio in London inside a sound proof booth. In total the entire library contain 4800 cymbal hits recorded across 100 cymbals totaling over 250 hours of recording, processing and splicing.

SIZZLE CHAIN ON / OFF

Each cymbal has additionally been recorded with a sizzle chain on. Sizzle chain hits achieve a jazzy sizzle hit with a shorter release. Sizzle chain hits are great to add a cool sheen across the top of drums loops.

7 CYMBAL HIT POINTS
All cymbals are recorded in 7 different hit points. Hit points include the bell, bow top, bow top middle, bow middle, bow middle low, bow low and edge. By recording every cymbal hit in these exact positions, results in an accurate recording of the cymbal that can be played back using a sampler in a creative way just as a drummer would.

4 UNIQUE STICK TYPES

Each cymbal has been recorded using 4 unique stick types. Stick types include wood stick, plastic stick, wood mallet and nylon mallet. Wood stick hits achieve a classic drum hit sound, while plastic stick hits achieve a sharper attack on the transients. Wood mallet hits achieve a similar sound to the wood stick hits but with a rounder more solid sound. Nylon mallets achieve an almost gong like hit, with a fuller lower mid range high end roll off sound.

100 CYMBALS TOTALING 4800 HITS

A huge collection of cymbals have been recorded. The collection includes 21 splashes, 18 hi-hats, 42 crashes, 15 rides and 4 chinas. Recording such a vast range of cymbals means every sound and style is covered. The free version only includes the 4 chinas totaling 192 single hits, 48 unique hits per cymbal.

VST INSTRUMENT
The VST can be used to trigger all 4800 cymbal hits and is compatible with both 32/64 bit windows and mac. This ensures compatibility with all major DAWs.
