I use version 2 and 3. They are different. Same concept, DSP, but v3 is reworked and more stuff added. Still use v2 because it is a go-to for single band clipping, faster and simpler than v3.
Still have v1, but don't use, because v2 is an expanded and improved.
So, v2 is a major update, v3 is a reworked upgrade

They Made it work and sound a little better in fl studio 20. its a good clipper but stopped using it because its a bit cpu intensive. especially in multi-band mode. They seemed to make it work more efficiently.

I had the same issue but take a look how i've fixed it.

If you are on FL Studio, open the KClip vst, then click on the gear then, the "Gear + Plug" icon, then go to Troubleshooting tab, and make sure to Enable "Use Fixed size Buffers".

If you are on another daw, try to fix the buffer of this plugin.
