I Fixed and send patch files to Charlotte for update later.
I'm very sorry that I didn't found out YAMAHA changed the UI Invoke.

Im on a mac and I got stuck trying to install the library using the provided Vocaloid DB installer tool.

While searching for Vocaloid db, it asks for finding a .ddi file.

The only file with this extension I can see is user/ library/app support/ Vocaloid 5/ Explib/expa2.ddi

It accepts it, although it does nothing !

Please, what can be done?

Giving up.

The installers provided are just the editor / frame application, no content whatsoever.

I think that library thing is pretty poorly explained, because I have given a look to the windows version, and yet again no content library....

Trying other third party options, but my mood for this piece of software is getting dark!

Does this include one of the new libraries or is it just the plug? I don't recall seeing any of the new v5 libs shared yet with maybe the exception of one Japanese one I think? Are there any English libs for v5 specifically released here? thx..

i'm using "wine" for installing windows things. After the installation are the libraries under "~/.wine/drive_c/Programm Files (86)/VOCALOID
i moved them all to the "normal" (not hidden) folder and used the Library Install Tool (included in this release).
Here the explanation comment from the last release:

How to install Vocaloid voices (windows version) on mac
1- Install a windows emulator (I use Parallel desktop)
2 - Install vocaloid voices (win version)
3 - In windows root goto /Program files (x86) and copy folder VoiceDB
4 - Paste VoiceDB folder into mac desktop (or you choose where)
5 - Fire the “VOCALOID5 Libraries Installer”
6 - Click “Find Vocaloid DB” and point the .ddi of your voice inside the VoiceDB folder
7 - Click “Install select components”
8 - Repeat procedure from n.6 if you installed more voices
9 - Enjoy!
