i cant get this to work on OSX despite following all instructions - get mac address, generate keygen, using wine on osx and also on windows, have the .ol2 file @ Library/Application Support/Overloud/Gem Comp76 . Started plugin and deny access using little snitch. Standalone plugin says i'm on demo mode and requires internet to activate.

am i doing something wrong or the keygen is bust?

I found correct place for .ol2 file is /user/Library/Application Support/Overloud/GEMS

I got mine to work, its in the hidden library folder within the HD. This is what i did -

1. Go to terminal and type 'defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES'
(without the quotation marks)

2. Relaunch finder

3. Copy .ol2 lic to Macintosh HD > USERNAME (on the acc that you installed in) > LIBRARY > APPLICATION SUPPORT > OVERLOUD > GEMS

4. Enjoy :)

PS: I blocked the outgoing connection for the app using Little Snitch.

you have to block overloud.com in your hosts folder by routing it to 127.0.0.1

This works fine (Mavericks, Logic 10.2.2).
The instructions are very clear. Follow to the T and you will have success.

Things to know about if you want to use unlocked stuff on a Mac:

Little Snitch, Block host file, Terminal, USER LIB, WINE, drive_c, Show hidden files, a search engine

copy the hosts file to the desktop and edit it. enter the line 127.0.0.1 overloud.com
and save it. Then copy the file from the desktop back to the original folder, and overwrite it. Flush the DNS cache or reboot. done.

First, thank you R2R for these wonderful Overloud releases!

It is simply incredible how low on CPU this compressor is. And I mean INCREDIBLE. To a point that I think there must be something wrong with it. Weirdly low CPU, but it sounds smooth and nice. In a short comparison I liked its sound better than PSP Fetpressor's.

But one thing bothers me: it takes a long time to appear. Like 4-5 seconds. With Reaper 5.18 on Windows 7x64. Does anybody else gets the same? Other plugins I use appear almost instantly. Also, the ratio knob is not working well. The change from 4 to "ALL" should be pretty drastic.
