Poly-Ana is finally here! Get ready for a new experience in virtual analog synthesis! Poly-Ana uses a different approach than most other VA soft-synths which we feel delivers a sound more authentic to the early analog synths that inspired her features. This "brute-force" method admittedly requires more processing power than other common techniques, but is a far truer model of the functioning of real analog instruments. If you obsess over the quality of your sound like we do then you won't mind using a bit more CPU power to help get you closer to that real analog sound; a sound that so many other VA synths fall too-far short of. (Note that Poly-Ana also offers a Quality option to reduce CPU usage during performance-time at the expense of sound quality.)

Poly-Ana's voice architecture is an ambitious combination of all the best features of the famous analog classics, plus a few new features (totaling 208 controls, plus a full 5 octave velocity sensitive virtual keyboard!) which, while possible back in the day, would have been prohibitively expensive to implement in hardware. But as a software-only product, Poly-Ana doesn't face these limitations, and we held nothing back in designing our "ultimate analog dream synth". Combine this with a classic styled design that puts every parameter a single click away, with large, easy to grab knobs and switches that behave like the real-world items; and with no hidden drill-down menus so that each and every control is prominently displayed out where you can see it; Poly-Ana offers a true alternative in software synthesis.

Are you sure you generated a key for Poly-ANA with the KeyGen (and not a SCAMP Key) and put it to the correct Dir? Here (Win7 64bit it works perfect)

No SCAMP folder in my installations. In fact there isn't even an Admiral folder in my 64-bit installation. But in any case I placed the license file in the 32-bit folder and it cracked both. (FL Studio). Have to say that the sounds are not as impressive as I expected. Try the Pads.. do they sound like Pads to you?

SCAMP is another PlugIn...this r2r.txt and keygen is simply for both Plugins. So if you install Poly-ANA generate a POly-ANA key and place it in your Poly-ANA install-Dir! Thats it...

no kidding! you got to REALLY love this VA to invest that kind of time and money! Guess you could map it to other subtractive synths as well..but that aint cheap with all the doepfer stuff etc...
..grateful for HEXWARS, R2R, SYNTHiC4TE, CASHMERE & ALL teams, AZ crew past and present, and friends I have met here . RIP and LOVE to Olymoon and his family.

Here is what they say:

XML file

The Poly-Ana Custom Skin is defined by an XML format file named Poly-AnaSkinl.xml which is located in the skin folder under the same folder your Poly-Ana.key goes in. (On OSX in: /Users/Your_user_name/Library/Application Support/Admiral Quality/Poly-Ana/skin/ On Windows in: \Program Files (x86)\Admiral Quality\Poly-Ana\skin\ — or use the Program Files folder on 32 bit versions of Windows that don't have a Program Files (x86) folder.)

With other words simply download the skin archive and extract it (contains a folder named "skin") and copy this folder to the path where you installed Poly ANA to.
