Yes, Soundtoyish but with stupid 3D perspective GUI instead. I wonder when, if ever, will people get that the monitor is flat. In nature you can see these buttons from all angles, but a plugin has only one angle - front! It is confusing finding/seeing the value this way. I'd choose functionality over madness every time. And the gloss on the VU meter.... pure idiocy. I gotta see the needle, not a reflection of the window that doesn't exist. I want to see only things that matter and exist, and I want to see them clearly.

Having said that I cannot wait to hear how it sounds. I couldn't give less crap about the GUI. But I highly doubt it that it's better than Decapitator. Probably too much time wasted in Photoshop and way too less in VC++, or god forbid VB, and thus the 128MB download - 99% graphics. Whole Soundtoys bundle isn't that big.

Thank you so much for a chance to compare it with others SYNTHiC4TE and Horsemen for the upload! It's nice to see an interesting plugin for download!

When we get 3D screens like that then we can talk 3D perspective GUI because then it will make sense, and I have no doubts we will have screens like this at some point in the future.

But for now, it doesn't make any sense, only annoyance as far as I'm concerned. Thankfully plenty of big and small developers still have more or less sane minds.

And how about the ridiculous upper perspective of the Steven Slate plugins? What fake 3D perspective is the right one? Only front perspective is the right one.

Now take a look at the Eventide and Exponential Audio plugins, for example. Crappy looking GUI, yes? However, they sound great. Unlike Steven Slate crap. :P

As far as the sound is converned, what are your thoughts on Audio Assault plugins in general - can they compete with reknown devs like soundtoys or softube for example?
