Installed and working great here on Windows 7 x64 both the stand alone application and the plugin inside reaper 5.30 x64, no problem activating.
It's a cool plugin, the presets included sound really nice, I also like the modulation system, very straight forward, it plays samples though I don't think you can route audio directly through it, so I guess the sampler also by New sonic art will come in handy....

Granite will not return an activation request file... anyone else having this problem? All other NSA plugins work fine.

EDIT: Problem solved. For some odd reason, the activation request file appears on the desktop, not in the designated folder as it did with all of their other plugins. I didn't see it in the forest of icons on my desktop. So to anyone confused by this, just check the desktop for the request file!

So just to get this clear, this is not an effect plugin but an instrument on its own which comes pre-loaded with samples and you can load your own samples but cannot use it as an effect on another running VST in your DAW. Is this right?

New Sonic Arts is basically me supported by a few helpers. I personally spent 5 years of weekends and evenings building New Sonic Arts, before going full time early 2016. Believe me I dont do it for the money. I make about a 3rd of what I made at my old job, with very little to spare. Thats the reality of running an independent audio company these days, even with 4 products. And that was before everything was cracked and available for free...

So please think about it and yes, if you do use the software, please buy it. Future developments really do depend on it.

Begrudging respect to R2R for reverse engineering the offline encryption. Decoding it in assembler is frankly very impressive. If you are coding for free, why dont you help me with building stuff instead of destroying things? Feel free to contact me via the site.

On the crackers, we will never know whether some are developers themselves and do reverse engineering just to know how it's made to make their own. Some are probably just brilliant coders who do it for fun, and yes there must be those who crack out of spite or have a grudge of some kind, political, religious, cultural. Stretching the imagination a little bit more, some of it could even be state-sponsored to slow down the success of certain nations' entrepeneurs. Who knows? I think there was a 'movement' of some kind in the beginning, but it was a small group of people and not mass distributing, just sharting their apps between themselves. Then it developed into some believing that we should all have access to software no matter if you could afford it or not, a bit like the UK's NHS. We, the users of this cracked stuff know very little about the crackers. I think I'd be right in saying that as many as half who use cracked stuff, have and do actually buy some of it after trying it out, and even without trying it out. They might just try this or that out of curiosity or for the fun of it and never actually use it. There isn't this great behaviour problem of stealing as much free stuff as possible or downloading things just because we can. I think most of us are actually serious about our music-making, even at the hobby level, and if you have a good read around, you'll see that even the crackers themselves urge downloaders to buy it if you use it for profit. Crackers are always urging downloaders to support the developers. We don't yet have internet malls or high streets where people can browse all the latest in clothes, electronics... or software in one place. For now it is places like these where your prodcuts get a massive airing.

mac not working...

anyone with a mac notice that granite doesnt work correctly?.. every time I activate it, or even if i choose 30-day trial, the device just plays a note without stopping.... As soon as i load it into a midi track (ableton) it immediately starts triggering audio... and it will NOT shut off.

standalone works fine. au plugin has the issue described by dim_triad.

Win 10; S1 3.3 x64
Have some problems: can't resize plugin (I'm choosing Large etc., but size doesn't change) and I can't import audio from project to plugin.
What am I doing wrong?
