The PTC-2A emulates the signature vintage Pultec sounds, replicating the unique ability to sculpt the EQ curve using separate boost and attenuate controls, while innovative DSP technology reproduces the desirable analogue filter response, without additional latency or CPU intensive processing.

A transformer-coupled tube amplifier emulation further enhances the vintage qualities, adding subtle character even with the EQ stage bypassed, just like the original vintage hardware.
