BFD Oblivion is an expansion for FXpansion's BFD3, BFD Eco and BFD2 designed to provide ready-to-use heavy rock and metal drum sounds. The included sounds are inspired by genres like post-metal, sludge, prog-metal and alt-rock and are intended to have the punch to slice through the densest walls of guitars.

Based around 3 different versions of a Mapex Orion kit with Mapex brass and Brady jarrah wood snares, each with different degrees of processing, BFD Oblivion also contains cymbals from Bosphorus, Zildjian and Paiste in natural and processed versions. Crafted by an in-house team obsessed with metal, BFD Oblivion is processed heavily so you don't have to - just add your hardest guitars and basses to create an authentic foundation for all kinds of rock and metal music.

I can't get either of these new ones to work all samples missing even with permissions fix. (El Cap and BFD3.

This is how you install BFD3 on OSX El Capitan; I struggled with this for some time and assume it is a problem for all FXpansion users:

*** Do NOT install any files manually, below steps don't need that ***

1. Install BFD3
2. Merge Payload folder of Core Library onto Core Library Update v1.0.0.1 (40GB)
3. Install Core Library
4. Activate per R2R instructions
5. Install any new BFD3 Updates


For New Libraries
1. Mount ISO image
2. Copy App Installer and Installer Folder to your Desktop
3. Unmount/trash image, Install from desktop
4. Activate per R2R instructions

Any ideia or install procedure to get it working on Windows? I'm getting missing samples icons for every drum piece...

I did this first and then it installed and all drums were seen:

When installing BFD3 there's a 40GB Core Library which will not install on El Capitan, you'll get a bunch of missing samples and adding paths manually to BFD3 won't solve the problem. To fix this, all you have to do is merge only the Payload folder of the original Core Library (40GB) on the Payload folder of Core Library Update 1.0.0.1 which will successfully run and install all samples on your desired destination.

that worked, thx! I merged the payload into the Sleishman expansion, after a re-scan I got these samples!
